Teamwork of social pedagogues in elementary school |

Teamwork is becoming an important factor in efficient work of individual institutions. Individuals require certain skills and knowledge so they can work well in a team. It is needed to understand that a team has to go through specific phases of development in which individuals adopt different roles in order for the team to function successfully. Social pedagogues are actively involved in all three stages of teamwork.
The main objective of this diploma thesis was to research different dimensions and types of teamwork regarding social pedagogues that are employed in elementary schools. I have obtained a deeper insight in this topic by sending out forty-two questionnaires all over Slovenia. Through these questionnaires it has been established that social pedagogues are active in a wide variety of teams with different professional profiles and institutions. Moreover, social pedagogues are the most active when it comes to teamwork with teachers where they take over numerous tasks for which reasons can vary. Teamwork often takes place with outside institutions where respondents connect themselves with counselors from other schools. More often than not teamwork is carried out with the help of professionals that are employed at Centres that work with children, adolescents and parents, as well as professionals that work in Social Services. With the help of supervision and intervision social pedagogues could deal with problems and conflicts that appear when it comes to working in a team a lot easier. Every individual that works in a team would have the opportunity to blossom on a personal level and become more flexible with the help of the aforementioned. Consequently, this personal development would benefit the team to become more sufficient in overcoming potential organizational obstacles. Teamwork of social pedagogues that work at school boards receive great support and encouragement which is reflected in ensuring social pedagogues a variety of supportive factors in order to successfully work in a team. It is not surprising that social pedagogues who are employed in elementary schools feel immensely competent and capable to work in a team, given the fact that it is greatly encouraged and implemented to a large extent. |

Timsko delo postaja vse bolj pomemben dejavnik učinkovitega dela posameznih institucij. Da posamezniki lahko v timu dobro delujejo, morajo biti vešči določenih spretnosti in znanja. Razumeti je potrebno, da mora tim za uspešno delovanje iti skozi določene faze razvoja, v katerih posamezniki zavzemajo različne vloge. Socialni pedagogi se aktivno vključujejo v vse tri etape timskega dela.
Raziskati razsežnosti in vrste timskega dela socialnih pedagogov, zaposlenih v osnovni šoli, je bil osrednji cilj tega diplomskega dela. S pomočjo dvainštiridesetih izpolnjenih anketnih vprašalnikov, ki so bili razposlani po Sloveniji, sem dobila informativni vpogled v to tematiko. Ugotovljeno je bilo, da so anketirane socialne pedagoginje aktivne v najrazličnejših timih z različnimi poklicnimi profili in institucijami. Najbolj dejavne so na področju timskega dela z učitelji. V tem timu prevzemajo veliko nalog, vzroki za njihovo prevzemanje so različni. Pogosto se timsko delo odvija z zunanjimi institucijami, kjer se anketiranke največ povezujejo s šolskimi svetovalnimi delavci iz drugih šol, zelo pogosto je tudi timsko delo s strokovnjaki iz centrov za otroke, mladostnike in starše ter s strokovnjaki iz centrov za socialni delo. S pomočjo supervizije in intervizije bi se socialne pedagoginje lažje spoprijemale s težavami in konflikti, ki se v timu pojavljajo. Z njuno pomočjo bi vsak posameznik tima osebnostno rasel, s čimer bi postajal bolj fleksibilen, na ta način pa bi prihajalo tudi do lažjega premagovanja organizacijskih ovir. Timsko delo socialnih pedagoginj vodstva šol v veliki meri podpirajo in spodbujajo, kar se kaže s tem, da jim zagotavljajo različne podporne dejavnike za uspešno timsko delo. Glede na to, da se k timskemu delu spodbuja in se ga v veliki meri izvaja, ugotovitev, da se socialni pedagogi, zaposleni v osnovni šoli, za opravljanje timskega dela počutijo izjemno sposobne in kompetentne, ne preseneča. |
