An interactive whiteboard is a modern instrument that is nowadays used in schools everywhere. A detailed description of its features, operation, usefulness, manufacture, and usage in schools will be presented in this paper. The interactive whiteboard can be used with different information and communications technology, such as digital pens, projectors, response systems, tablet computers, laptops etc.
The thesis consists of the theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part a range of interactive whiteboards and technical accessories that, together with the whiteboard, form a so-called interactive classroom, are presented. In addition the thesis includes a description of infrared light (IR), IR data transmission, frequency modulation, and the basic functioning of an IR receiver and transmitter modules. The practical part includes an in detail description of the manufacture of your very own easy-to-make IR interactive whiteboard, without spending a lot of money. Furthermore, there is a detailed description of the material necessary for the manufacture of the interactive whiteboard, how to connect microcontrollers to programmers, and the explanation of the source code (written in BASCOM) for the IR receiver and transmitter modules. The whole procedure is described in a way that pupils can themselves, with the help of their teacher, build it either in the course of technical education or science days. |

Eno izmed sodobnejših orodij s katerimi se srečujemo v današnjih šolah je tudi interaktivna tabla, katere značilnosti, način delovanja in uporabnost, praktična izdelava in postavitev v razredu so podrobneje opisane v diplomski nalogi. V splošnem interaktivna tabla deluje v povezavi z ostalimi sodobnimi informacijsko-komunikacijskimi tehnologijami kot so elektronska pisala, projektorji, glasovalne naprave, brezžične tablice in računalniki.
Diplomska naloga je sestavljena iz teoretičnega in praktičnega dela. Teoretičen del vsebuje predstavitev različnih tipov komercialnih interaktivnih tabel ter pripomočkov, ki skupaj s tablo tvorijo t.i. interaktivni razred. Dalje je v nalogi opisana teorija infrardečega valovanja, infrardeče komunikacije, modulacije signala ter splošno delovanje infrardečega oddajnika in sprejemnika. V praktičnem delu je predstavljena izdelava lastne, cenovno ugodne in na preprost način izdelane infrardeče interaktivne table, kar je tudi osrednja tema diplomske naloge. Opisan postopek izdelave interaktivne table vključuje izdelavo in sestavo potrebnih elementov, povezovanje mikrokrmilnika s programatorjem ter razlaga programske kode infrardečega oddajnika in sprejemnika napisane v programskem okolju BASCOM. Celoten postopek izdelave, ki je predstavljen v nalogi, je zasnovan tako, da ga lahko izvedejo tudi učenci ob pomoči učitelja v okviru projektnega dela pri predmetu robotika v tehniki ali tehničnem dnevu. |
