Sekundarni povzetek: The present diploma thesis is addressing the infrastructural needs for implementation of activities and the infrastructural apparatus of business zones. I have analysed the public infrastructure in business sector as a set of logistic, energy, water and waste management and telecommunications infrastructures, whose efficient development establishes a competitive setting and thus a possibility of forming business zones and a successful operation of companies. Using the available national and international literature, I have surveyed the options of infrastructure implementation and displayed the key tools for business zones establishment. This thesis displays the results of the analysis of the relationship between different production activities and the infrastructural needs for their deployment in industrial facilities as well as the characteristics of infrastructure used in business zones in central Slovenia. The results of the studies, supported also by foreign sources, primarily show the need for quality infrastructure as a basis for quick and effective economic development. Furthermore, the analyses display some specific needs for infrastructure in processing businesses and the specific characteristics of business zones equipage, the general conclusion being that the infrastructural equipage of the facilities is relatively high.

Povzetek (ePrints): V diplomski nalogi obravnavam infrastrukturne potrebe za izvajanje dejavnosti in opremljenost poslovnih con z infrastrukturo. Gospodarsko javno infrastrukturo sem analiziral kot skupek prometne, energetske, komunalne in telekomunikacijske infrastrukture, ki z učinkovitim razvojem zagotavlja konkurenčno okolje ter možnost vzpostavljanja poslovnih con in uspešno delovanje podjetij. S pomočjo domače in tuje literature sem opravil pregled možnosti uporabe infrastrukture in prikaz ključnih orodij za ustanavljanje poslovnih con. V diplomski nalogi predstavljam rezultate analize, kjer je zajet odnos med različnimi proizvodnimi dejavnostmi in infrastrukturnimi potrebami za njihovo izvajanje v industrijskih objektih ter karakteristike z vidika opremljenosti poslovnih con z infrastrukturo na območju osrednje Slovenije. Rezultati diplomskega dela, ki so podprti tudi s tujimi viri, primarno naslavljajo uporabo kakovostne infrastrukture za hiter in učinkovit razvoj gospodarstva, poleg tega pa rezultati izvedenih analiz kažejo nekatere specifične potrebe po infrastrukturi v predelovalnih dejavnostih, kakor tudi specifične karakteristike opremljenosti poslovnih con. V splošnem je mogoče ugotoviti, da je infrastrukturna opremljenost prostora za izvajanje dejavnosti dokaj visoka.
