Sekundarni povzetek: The aim of my diploma thesis is to find out about the possibilities of the spatial development of village Komen and make a proposal for its future regulation. The work consists of a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part presents the characteristics of the Slovene countryside, starting points for the countryside planning, rules and regulations and the role of our cultural heritage in the countryside planning . The practical part concentrates on the presentations of the municipality of Komen and the main village Komen. These are followed by the results of a detailed spatial analysis of this settlement, shown on a map with a scale 1: 5000. Besides, there are analyses of the relief, the land use, the purpose and functionality of buildings in the village, the ridge direction pattern, the type of roof tiles, the traffic infrastructure, as well as the morphological and visual analysis. In the last part, I have presented a proposal for the regulation of the settlement on the basis of the findings and added some guidelines on populating this area, the development of traffic, recreation and additional possibilities of tourism expansion.

Povzetek (ePrints): Cilj diplomske naloge je ugotoviti prostorske razvojne možnosti naselja Komen in izdelati predlog njegove ureditve. Naloga je sestavljena iz teoretičnega in praktičnega dela. V teoretičnem delu je predstavljen zgodovinski pregled prostorskega načrtovanja, izhodišča planiranja podeželja, Fabianijev pogled na urejanje prostora ter normativna ureditev prostorskega načrtovanja. V praktičnem delu je predstavljena občina Komen in v sklopu le-te tudi naselje Komen. Sledi podrobna prostorska analiza naselja, ki je grafično prikazana na kartah v merilu 1:5000. Posamezne analize se navezujejo na relief, rabo prostora, potek slemena pri objektih, prometno opremljenost naselja, opravljeni pa sta tudi morfološka in vizualna analiza. Na podlagi rezultatov izvedenih analiz naselja je v zadnjem delu naloge pripravljen predlog ureditve naselja s predlaganimi smernicami v razvoju poselitve, prometa ter možnosti širitve turizma v naselju.

The work consists of a theoretical and practical part.
