Sekundarni povzetek: Slag is a by-product produced during iron and steel production. Large quantities of slag and its properties show possibilities of using it in civil engineering. As part of my diploma thesis, we conducted a research on the processed white slag from a landfill. The entire research was conducted at the Slovenian National Building and Civil Engineering Institute. In the first part of our research, we looked into the qualities of the processed white slag from the landfill. In the second part of it, we researched possibilities of using the processed white slag from the landfill in concrete - bound composites for utilization in the road construction in the individual layers of the road structure.

Povzetek (ePrints): Žlindra je stranski produkt pri proizvodnji jekla in železa. Velike količine žlindre in njene lastnosti kažejo na možnost uporabe v gradbeništvu. V sklopu diplomske naloge smo opravili preiskave na predelani deponijski beli žlindri. Vse preiskave smo opravili na Zavodu za gradbeništvo Slovenije. Najprej smo preiskali lastnosti predelane deponijske bele žlindre. V drugem delu preiskav pa smo preiskali možnosti uporabe predelane deponijske bele žlindre v vezanih betonskih kompozitih za uporabo v cestogradnji, v posameznih plasteh cestnega telesa.
