Finding the needed information when planning a construction can be quite a challenge, as the amount of data on the World Wide Web is daily increasing. Searching the wide base of disorganized information is time consuming and often leads to irrelevant search results. The main aim of the diploma thesis is to improve the information flow among all stakeholders in the construction process: investors, construction planners, building contractors, construction companies and so on. In order to facilitate such information exchange, an ontology of building renovation workflows and an associated knowledge base were developed by using Semantic Web technologies and tools. Workflow is defined as an explicit specification of a sequence of connected services and products which are necessary for renovation. By making such workflows sharable among the users on the Web, it may be possible to efficiently and effectively simplify various decisions regarding the construction process. By analyzing a chosen example of a house renovation, it was possible to define the information that the stakeholders may not find on the Web and to specify the benefit in the decision making process (spending less time and money, better energy efficiency of a building etc.). The presented case of building refurbishment includes the replacement of essential elements (roof, facade, glazing) that impact energy efficiency and sustainability of the building. After analyzing the case, an ontology of renovation workflows was
developed that represents the studied renovation case. The ontology was implemented by using the OWL language in the editor Protégé. Semantic Web technologies proved to be efficient when marketing and searching products and services, since a variety of SPARQL statements were executed
on the developed knowledge base. The developed ontology and the associated knowledge base (containing instances of workflows) provided optimal solutions and thus appeared to be useful model for future promotion of quality construction services on the World Wide Web. |

Količina podatkov na svetovnem spletu se iz dneva v dna veča, zato je iskanje želenih informacij pri načrtovanju gradnje vse zahtevnejše. Zaradi razpršenosti informacij je iskanje zamudno, pogoste pa so tudi neustrezne rešitve. Glavni namen diplomske naloge je omogočiti lažjo izmenjavo informacij na medmrežju med udeleženci v procesu gradnje: investitor, načrtovalec gradnje, izvajalec, gradbena podjetja, ki tržijo svoje izdelke, in drugi. S pomočjo tehnologij in orodij semantičnega spleta smo želeli zapisati delotok prenove. Delotok je eksplicitni zapis zaporedja različnih storitev in produktov, ki jih potrebujemo za obnovo objekta. Dostopnost delotoka prenove na spletu bi bistveno olajšala načrtovanje gradnje ter iskanje optimalnih rešitev pri izbiri produktov in storitev. Na izbranem primeru stavbe smo ocenili, katere informacije uporabnikom primanjkujejo v fazi odločanja o gradnji ter kako bi te lahko pripomogle k boljšim rešitvam (krajši čas reševanja problema, večja energetska učinkovitost stavbe itd.). Izbrani primer prenove stavbe zajema prenovo strehe, ovoja stavbe ter zamenjavo zasteklitve, ki so ključnega pomena za energetsko učinkovitost in trajnost objekta. Po analizi obravnavane prenove smo z jezikom OWL v orodju Protégé zapisali ontologijo delotoka za izbrani primer. Tehnologije semantičnega spleta so se izkazale za potencialno uporabne pri trženju in iskanju gradbenih produktov in storitev. Diplomsko nalogo zaključimo s preverjanjem delotoka, kar
izvedemo s SPARQL vprašalniki. Zapisana ontologija in pripadajoča baza znanja (primerki delotokov) pri tem podajata želene odgovore in s tem tudi dosegata svoj namen. |
