Inpact of the space weather on GNSS |
Sekundarni povzetek: |
Today we more than ever dependent on modern technology, which in big part relays on GNSS. Because of that, we in the thesis, tray to discover the impact of space weather on GNSS satellite, on propagation of GNSS signal and on a quality of determining the position of the GNSS receiver. Space weather is very dynamic and represent a potentially dangerous hazards on our lifestyle, so it is very important that we try to understand it and maybe in future, also predict it. The biggest impact represent solar radio bursts, coronal mass ejections, solar wind and solar energetic particles. To get a bigger picture, we on a basis of the sources, chose four examples, which we processed with specific software. So we gathered information on number of satellite in range of the receiver, information on potential loss of signal, information on current state of ionosphere and on a quality of a signal, that on his way toward the receiver travels through the ionosphere. The final assessment was on a quality of determining the position of the GNSS receiver. All the results were interpreted and also graphically represented. |
