Sekundarni povzetek: The thesis deals with the issue of preparing and using concrete mix specimens containing rubber aggregate. The experiment is an independent development test as part of a research and development project aiming to analyse abrasion resistance of concretes used for the construction of river dams on the Sava River. For the purpose of the thesis we looked into all the phases of preparing concrete mixes, i.e. from preparing the ingredients and mixing test mixes to conducting basic experiments to determine the characteristics of fresh concrete and preparing specimens for further tests on hardened concrete. We analysed two mixes in which a fraction of stone aggregate was replaced by rubber aggregate in different proportions (up to 10% and up to 20%). Rubber aggregate is the end product of waste tyre recycling. Moreover, we compared the mixture with basic concrete mixtures that have already been used in the construction of river dams on the Sava River. We also analysed the basic characteristics of fresh concrete, particularly its workability, which is important for the organisation of placing such types of concrete. In the final part, we compared and analysed individual results and put forward our observations of individual tests on the concrete mixes. Our experience in preparing concrete with rubber aggregate helped us formulate some recommendations and activities for technological preparation of concrete mixes intended for future users both in the laboratory and on the ground.

Povzetek (ePrints): V nalogi smo obravnavali problematiko priprave in izvedbe poskusnih mešanic betona z dodatkom gumenega agregata kot samostojnega razvojnega dela v okviru razvojnoraziskovalne naloge analize abrazijske odpornosti betonov za potrebe projekta izgradnje pregrad na reki Savi. V okviru diplomskega dela smo obdelali vse faze priprave betonskih mešanic, od priprave sestavin betona, zamešanja poskusnih mešanic do izvedbe osnovnih preskusov lastnosti svežega betona in priprave preskušancev za nadaljnje preskuse lastnosti strjenega betona. V nalogi smo analizirali dve mešanici, kjer smo frakcijo kamenega agregata nadomestili z različnim deležem (do 10 % in do 20 %) z gumenim granulatom, kot končnim produktom reciklaže avtomobilskih pnevmatik in jih primerjali z osnovnimi betonskimi mešanicami, ki so bile že uporabljene pri gradnji pregrad na reki Savi. Analizirali smo osnovne lastnosti svežega betona in še posebej vgradljivost betona, kar je pomembno z vidika organizacije tehnologije vgradnje tovrstnih betonov. Na koncu smo primerjali in analizirali posamezne rezultate in podali ugotovitve glede opažanj med samo izvedbo posameznih preskusov betonskih mešanic. Glede na pridobljene izkušnje pri pripravi betonov z dodatkom gumenega agregata smo v sklepnem delu naloge pripravili kratek nabor priporočil in aktivnosti za tehnološko pripravo betonskih mešanic za bodoče uporabnike tako v laboratoriju kot za izvedbo na terenu.
