Visual culture of the street and the creation of graffiti at fine art studies |
Sekundarni povzetek: |
The goal of my dissertation is to present graffiti and street art as form of art. The thesis wants to present graffiti artists not as aggressive adolescents, who violate established norms, but to emphasize that graffiti can be a form of art or maybe the starting point of artistic career. The dissertation discusses the history of the first wall paintings, the development of graffiti and street art, the production of graffiti at fine art studies and different techniques like sprays, stencils, stickers and mural painting on larger surfaces.
At lessons of art education the contents related to visual communication have often been neglected. However, such contents can be included in the class projects from various artistic fields. To increase motivation students can learn about the specific elements of visual art communications performing a task that highlights the problem of the visual culture of the street using a variety of materials. In addition to increasing student motivation, the teacher can enhance students’ creativity and positive attitude towards the production of graffiti and its artistic value. Goals that I set out in this thesis are: to explore genres, especially graffiti and street art, their development and artistic value; explore the integration of graffiti production in the field of drawing and painting, exploring the impact of visual performance tasks by creating graffiti based on student relationship towards these creations. During my teacher practice, I made an interview with my students, in order to verify the success of my teaching performance. |

Izpostavljeni cilji so naslednji: raziskati zvrsti, posebnosti grafita in street arta, njun razvoj in umetniško vrednost; raziskati možnosti vključevanja oblikovanja grafita v izvedbo likovnih nalog na področju risanja in slikanja; raziskati vpliv izvedbe likovne naloge z oblikovanjem grafita na učenčev odnos do teh stvaritev. |
