Planning of motor skills activities of preschool children in the Gorenjska region |
Sekundarni povzetek: |
The purpose of this diploma thesis was to analyse planning of motor skills activities of preschool children in the Gorenjska region. We were interested whether preschool teachers in the Gorenjska kindergartens plan motor skills activities in a goal-oriented manner or process-oriented manner and how deep their knowledge of motor skills teaching contents is. We were also interested whether teachers, who are younger, are more familiar with process-oriented curriculum.
The research was based on a causal - nonexperimental method of empirical research. The data was gathered by means of a structured survey questionnaire. 62 preschool teachers employed in the Gorenjska kindergartens participated (72.1 % sample realisation). The sample was unaccidental, purpose-made. The data was processed with MSO Excel and SPSS programs. Demographic data was processed by means of descriptive statistics. Statistically relevant differences were established with Chi-squared distribution, Pearson's chi-squared test and F-distribution.
On the basis of data gathered we came to a conclusion that all of the preschool teachers surveyed in the Gorenjska kindergartens plan motor skills activities of children. The majority of preschool teachers (52.8 %) plan motors kills activities in a process-oriented manner. With F-distribution we came to a conclusion that younger preschool teachers are more familiar with process-oriented curriculum.
In the Gorenjska kindergartens motor skills activities are planned and the plan is process-oriented with more than a half of them. A large percentage of preschool teachers surveyed have had more than 20 years of service, which shows mild differences when executing motor skills activities between younger and older preschool teachers. |

Podatki so bili zbrani s strukturiranim anketnim vprašalnikom. Sodelovalo je 62 vzgojiteljic (72.1 % realizacija vzorca), zaposlenih v gorenjskih vrtcih. Vzorec je bil neslučajnostni, namenski. Podatke smo obdelali s programom MSO Excel in SPSS. Demografske podatke smo obdelali z deskriptivno statistiko.
