Sekundarni povzetek:	Adolescence is a very stormy and interesting developmental period when an individual is becoming more and more independent from his/her family, starts to establish new relationships, and is becoming an individual adult. I have been researching in the diploma thesis what opinions young people have about themselves. A lot of factors influence the development of their opinions. Therefore, the purpose of my research has been to discover how training sports influences opinions of individuals. I have been researching what the differences between opinions of students – sportsmen and students – non-sportsmen are. In the theoretical part, I have been discussing what influence sport has to different aspects of an individual's personality. Then I have done a research at 1st Grammar School in Celje. I have done a comparison between two groups of students – sportsmen and students – non-sportsmen. The results have shown that there are no significant differences between the two groups. I cannot generalize the results of the research for the population because of the too small sample.
