Sekundarni povzetek: According to the new concept of upbringing and education of children with disabilities, children with diverse and specific needs are involved in regular forms of education, with some adjustments and professional assistance. Teachers and professional staff would need to provide them with help and assistance, which is not an easy task, because they often do not feel sufficiently qualified to perform such work. Daily school processes are regularly disturbed by pupils with emotional and behavioral difficulties. Grounds for their issues are diverse and their problems are mostly poorly understood. That is why I am focused on the case study of a pupil with learning difficulties and behavioral issues by focusing on deficits in specific areas of learning in this diploma work. The empirical part includes a qualitative analysis of four interviews and school documentation. With it I tried to get an insight into the coherence of intervention on the treatment of children with special needs, of such a decision and an individualized program. Considering also the adjustments in the classroom, the perception of the pupil and monitoring the process of the work done by the teachers, professional associates and pupil. I was also interested in an eventual progress of the pupil and the actual process of evaluation of an individualized program. The results show conformity of the documentation of the adaptations in classes, where the teacher and professional associates use adaptations for pupils with emotional and behavioral difficulties. When working with the pupil, professional associates get familiar with the child's specific needs and assist him in the areas where help is most needed. They work as a team, when they deal with the pupil; in the whole time the pupil was treated, learning progress was detected, but the pupil's behavior is still being a problem with which they can not adequately cope.
