diplomsko delo
V teoretičnem delu so najprej predstavljeni geografski, zgodovinski in sociološki podatki o Zagorju in občini Pivka. Sledi oris glasoslovne ravnine in predstavitev oblikoslovnih, skladenjskih in besedotvornih posebnosti. Živalski frazemi so v zaključnem delu analizirani in interpretirani.

Animals in language imagery in the dialect of Zagorje |
Sekundarni povzetek: |
The graduate thesis Animals in Language Imagery in the Dialect of Zagorje consists of two parts. In the theoretical part geographical, historical and sociological data on Zagorje and the municipality of Pivka are presented. The Zagorje subdialect is classified as Inner Carniolan dialect, which is a part of Littoral dialect group. Inner Carniolan dialect is spoken westwards of the mountain range Snežnik-Javorniki-Nanos-Trnovski gozd, around Pivka, in Brkini and in the part of the Karst region. Furthermore, phonetics, morphology, syntactical and word formation features are discussed. The development of phraseological science is outlined and the defining characteristics, forms and types of phraseological units are listed. In the second part animal phraseological units which were first recorded are written in Slovenian phonetic transcription. Phraseological units were written out of 55 animal stories where 62 animals are described. The author, Janez Keber, has collected them in two books entitled Animal Imagery. Phraseological units were later analyzed and interpreted. Most of phraseological units contain farm animals, of which cattle is the most frequent. As we predicted, phraseological units with foreign animals, the ones that do not live in the rural environment and informants have no direct contact with, are the least frequent. In the adressed dialectal speech many animal phraseological units are still used everyday. Rich animal symbolism and metaphors remain relavant even today. |
