Povzetek

Diplomsko delo obravnava modro barvo kot področje likovnega izražanja in uvajanja le-te v učne programe. V prvem sklopu sem raziskala likovno teoretični vidik modre barve, nato sledi pregled modre v umetnosti skozi posamezna zgodovinska obdobja. Nadaljujem z vlogo modre barve v tradiciji različnih kultur ter raziskujem njen simbolični pomen. Na koncu sledi še obravnava teme o fiziološkem učinku modre barve in njeni psihodiagnostični vrednosti ter razlaga modre barve na področju poučevanja. Pri razmišljanju o lastnem delu navajam postopek slikanja iz serije »Modra« od začetne ideje, postopka ustvarjanja, zgleda in vpliva tujega avtorja pa vse do razstave. Lastne izkušnje sem nato osmislila v teoretičnem in praktičnem delu na področju didaktike.

Sekundarni povzetek:	The thesis discusses the blue colour as a field of artistic expression and introduction of it into the school curriculum. In the first part I have researched the theoretical aspect of blue in fine art and continued with the research of the use of blue in art throughout the historical time periods. Further on, the thesis outlines the role of blue in the tradition of various cultures and presents its symbolic meanings. Finally, the topic of physiological effect of blue colour and its psycho-diagnostic value is presented, and the theoretical part concludes with an explanation of blue in the education field. In the author part, the thesis shows my process of making a series of paintings named »Blue« from its first ideas, the creation process, the role model and the impact of a foreign author to the moment when the series was shown at a group exhibition. I generated my own experience in theoretical and practical work within the didactic area.
