Povzetek

Globalizacija poslovanja in vse ostrejša konkurenca na trgu zahtevajo od podjetij, da se nenehno prilagajajo, iščejo ter pridobivajo nove poslovne možnosti in rešitve. V svetu se srečujemo s podjetji, ki so prerasla nacionalne meje ter se razvila v mednarodna, večnacionalna in globalna podjetja. Vse hitrejši razvoj znanosti, tehnologije in komunikacije ter želja po nenehni rasti podjetja so pripomogli, da so nastala takšna podjetja. S svojimi proizvodi, storitvami in tehnološkimi rešitvami so prisotna na globalnem trgu. Le ta jim predstavlja okolje s katerim poslujejo, zanj iščejo, razvijajo ter ponujajo nove rešitve. Magistrsko delo smo razdelili na dva sklopa, prvi sklop zajema podajanje teoretičnih spoznanj o obravnavani tematiki, drugi sklop zajema aplikativni del raziskovanja podjetja Messer Slovenija d.o.o., hčerinskega podjetja globalne skupine Messer Group. Teoretični del magistrskega dela smo pričeli z obravnavno življenjskega cikla podjetja v okviru katerega smo opredelili posamezne faze le tega, nadalje smo poskušali narediti ločnico med rastjo podjetja kot pozitivno ali negativno spremembo obsega podjetja in razvojem podjetja kot kontinuiran, k smotrom in ciljem usmerjen proces spreminjanja kakovosti podjetja. Sledila je obravnava kriz podjetja, kot procesov, ki pozitivno ali negativno vplivajo na življenjski cikel podjetja, nadalje smo podali vzroke za njihov pojav ter opredelili značilne razvojne krize v življenjskem ciklu podjetja. Teoretični del smo zaključili z obravnavo posameznih oblik kriznega managementa, kot načina vodenja podjetja za preprečitev ter reševanje pojava kriznega stanja v podjetju. Aplikativni del magistrskega dela smo pričeli s predstavitvijo Messer Slovenija, podjetja za proizvodnjo in distribucijo tehničnih plinov d.o.o., nadalje smo podali strukturno analizo podjetja, poslovnih ter upravljano – vodstvenih funkcij podjetja, ki so nam služile za nadaljnjo proučitev podjetja. Sledilo je raziskovanje življenjskega / razvojnega cikla podjetja s pomočjo Pümpin – Prangejeve (1995) metode za proučevanje elementov faz življenjskega cikla podjetja. Oceno kriznega stanja podjetja smo podali na podlagi Pümpin – Prangejevega (1995) opisa obvladovanja podjetniških kriz. Ocenjevanje faz kriznega stanja smo izvedli na podlagi Kropfbergerjevega (2003) modela faz podjetniških kriz. Aplikativni del smo zaključili s sintezo spoznanj o kriznem stanju podjetja ter predlogom ukrepov za ohranjanje uspešnega rastočega podjetja Messer Slovenija d.o.o. v prihodnosti.

Sekundarni povzetek: The globalisation of business and intensified market competition require companies to continually adapt, seek and acquire new business opportunities and solutions. The world faces companies that have outgrown national borders and have developed into international, multinational and global companies. The development of science, technology and communication, as well as the desire for a continued growth of companies, has contributed to the creation of such companies. They are present in the global market with their products, services and technological solutions. Global market represents the environment in which these companies operate, look for, develop and offer new solutions. Master's thesis is divided into two sections, the first section encompasses introduction of a theoretical knowledge, and the second covers an applied research of the company Messer Slovenija d.o.o., a subsidiary of a global Messer Group. The theoretical part of the thesis starts with an analysis of the company’s life cycle in which different stages of the cycle were defined. Moreover, an attempt of a distinction between the growth of the company as a positive or negative change in a scope of the company together with its business development as an ongoing, to the objective driven process of changing the quality of a company was made. A description of business crises followed, considering the processes that have a positive or negative impact on the life cycle of the company. Furthermore, reasons for their occurrence are presented, and typical developmental crisis in the life cycle of the company is identified. The theoretical part concludes with a discussion of specific types of a crisis management, as a means of preventing and tackling the phenomenon of a crisis situation in the company. The applied part of the thesis starts with the presentation of Messer Slovenija d.o.o., a company for production and distribution of industrial gases. Furthermore, structural analysis of the company, business and management functions, which were used in further examination of the company are presented. Afterwards, an exploration of life / business development cycle in accordance with the Pümpin – Prange (1995) method for the study of the elements of the life cycle stages of a business was examined. Crisis assessment sheet is provided on the basis of the Pümpin – Prange (1995) description of the management of corporate crises. Evaluation of the stages of the crisis situation was carried out on the basis of the Kropfberger (2003) model of the corporate crisis stages. Applied part closes with a synthesis of knowledge about the crisis situation of the company and proposes measures for the conservation of a successful and growing company Messer Slovenija d.o.o. in the future.
