Povzetek

V diplomskem delu smo želeli ugotoviti ali povečana telesna teža vpliva na motorični razvoj otrok. V teoretičnem delu je opisan motorični razvoj otrok, motorične sposobnosti in dejavniki, ki vplivajo na motorični razvoj. Prav tako je opisan telesni razvoj in kako ga spremljamo. V teoretičnem delu je opisana povečana telesna teža, ki se deli na prekomerno telesno težo in debelost. Pri tem poglavju so opisani vzroki in posledice povečane telesne teže v otroštvu. V empiričnem delu diplomskega dela so predstavljeni rezultati testiranja motoričnih sposobnosti. Uporabili smo 12 motoričnih testov, s katerimi domnevno merimo motorične sposobnosti. Ugotavljali smo, ali bodo otroci s povečano telesno težo dosegli slabše rezultate od otrok z normalno telesno težo, ali bodo na testiranju motoričnih sposobnosti razlike med spoloma in ali bodo razlike na testiranju motoričnih sposobnosti glede na indeks telesne mase otrok. V raziskavi je sodelovalo 88 otrok, od tega 41 deklic in 47 dečkov, starih od 57 do 75 mesecev. Ugotovili smo, da otroci s povečano telesno težo dosegajo slabše rezultate od otrok z normalno telesno težo in da so razlike v motoričnih sposobnostih med spoloma in glede na indeks telesne mase otrok.

Sekundarni povzetek: In the diploma we wanted to find out if overweight influences the motoric development of the children. In the theoretical part the motoric development of the children, motoric abilities and factors that influence the development of the children are described. Also we have described the physical development and how we monitor it. In the theoretical part overweight is also described that is divided into overweight and obesity. In this chapter the reasons and consequences of overweight in childhood are described. In the empirical part of the work the results of the testing of motoric abilities are presented. We have used 12 motoric tests with which we measure motoric abilities. We wanted to establish if the overweight children will achieve worse results from the children with normal weight, if there will be differences between genders and if there will be differences in testing motoric abilities according to body mass index of the children. In the research were 88 children, 41 girls and 47 boys, aged between 57 months and 75 months. We have found out that overweight children achieve worse results as children with normal weight and that there are differences in motoric abilities among gender and according to the body mass index of the children.
