Povzetek
Pojem je miselna tvorba, ki je določena z bistvenimi lastnostmi in značilnostmi. Pojme razvijamo skozi proces učenja, ki traja celo življenje, nanj pa vplivajo različni dejavniki. Pojme razvijamo postopoma in prilagojeno miselnemu razvoju posameznika. Diplomsko delo govori o napačnem razumevanju preprostih naravoslovnih pojmov. Diplomsko delo je sestavljeno iz teoretičnega in empiričnega dela. V prvem delu smo se osredotočili na kognitivni razvoj otroka, učenje in razvoj pojmov. Posebno pozornost smo namenili napačnemu razumevanju preprostih naravoslovnih pojmov. Naravoslovne pojme smo razdelili na fizikalne, kemijske in biološke pojme. V strokovni literaturi smo poiskali definicije izbranih pojmov in razlike med njimi. Na podlagi teoretičnega dela smo sestavili anketni vprašalnik. V empiričnem delu so predstavljeni rezultati empirične raziskave, ki smo jo med vzgojiteljicami izvedli v mesecu decembru 2013 v mariborskih vrtcih, kjer smo v času študija opravljali pedagoško prakso. Ob vzgojiteljih in vzgojiteljicah smo anketirali tudi študente 1. in 3. letnika Predšolske vzgoje na Pedagoški fakulteti v Mariboru. S pomočjo empirične raziskave smo ugotavljali, kako dobro anketiranci poznajo in razumejo različne kemijske, fizikalne in biološke pojme. Ugotovili smo, da anketiranci preproste naravoslovne pojme dokaj dobro poznajo, razumejo in med seboj ločujejo. Še vedno pa se pojavlja napačno razumevanje pojmov. Iz podatkov smo ugotovili, da so se vzgojiteljice med vsemi anketiranimi izkazale najbolje, saj so odgovorile z najmanj napačnimi odgovori. To pomeni, da so pri svojem delu na naravoslovnem področju strokovno suverene.

The concept is an intellectual construction which is defined by its essential characteristics. The concepts are developed through the process of lifelong learning and are under the influence of different factors. The concepts are developed gradually and are adapted to individual's mental development. This thesis is about wrong understanding of simple naturalist concepts. It is divided into two parts, theoretical and empirical. In the first part we focused on the cognitive development of the child, learning and development of concepts. Special attention was given to wrong understanding of simple naturalist concepts. These were divided into physical, chemical and biological concepts. We have found definitions and the differences of the chosen concepts in literature. The theoretical part was the basis for the questionnaire we made. In the empirical part there are the results of the research which was made in December in some kindergartens in Maribor where we had pedagogic practice during our studies. Besides pre-school teachers we gave the questionnaires also to the students of Pre-school education of Faculty of Education in Maribor. The aim of the research was to find out how well the respondents know different chemical, physical and biological concepts. We found out that in general the respondents know simple naturalist concepts quite well, they understand them and make distinctions among them. However, there are still exapmles of wrong understanding of the concepts. The data show that among the responders the pre-school teachers were the best, that is they had the least wrong answers. That is a good news because we know that they are competent at their work in the field of understanding naturalist concepts. |
