Povzetek

Kako uspešno je podjetje, je v veliki meri odvisno od njegovega managerja. V diplomski nalogi smo predstavili pojem management, ga opredelili in opisali njegove funkcije. Te so planiranje, vodenje, organiziranje in nadzorovanje. Vsaka je zase zelo pomembna in so med seboj povezane. Predstavili smo podjetje Tinkal d.o.o., ki se ukvarja z maloprodajo. Pod svojim okriljem ima znamki Okaidi in women'secret, prva ima sedež v Franciji, druga pa v Španiji. Predstavili smo tudi management znotraj podjetja ter njegovo organizacijsko strukturo. V nadaljevanju smo opisali managerja in njegove naloge. Da bi manager bil uspešen, mora biti izkušen in imeti ustrezno izobrazbo, imeti mora sposobnost vodenja, ustvarjati dobro klimo znotraj organizacije, motivirati preostale člane in znati dosegati zastavljene cilje. Med vodenjem in pojmom management obstajajo razlika, zato ju ne moremo enačiti. Vodenje je vplivanje na zaposlene, da naredijo tisto, kar jim je naročeno iz strani vodje. Obstaja več modelov vodenja kot npr modeli osebnih značilnosti vodje, modeli vedenja vodij in pa situacijsko vodenje. Spoznali smo, na kak način poteka vodenje v podjetju Tinkal d.o.o. in na kakšen način vodja motivira ter usmerja svoje zaposlene, da skupaj dosegajo dobre rezultate in zastavljene cilje. Skozi ta diplomski seminar smo ugotovili, da je vodenje v podjetju ključnega pomena. Brez dobrega managerja se slej kot prej v podjetju kaj zalomi, zato je pomembno imeti sposobno in ustrezno izobraženo osebo na mestu vodje oziroma managerja. Naloga je vse prej kot lahka in morda ni za vsakogar, a z leti se pridobijo izkušnje in se le-te povežejo s predhodnim znanjem, kar omogoča, da manager postane dober.

Sekundarni povzetek: In order for a company to be succesful is very much dependent to its manager. In this seminar we presented the concept of management, defined it and described its functions. These are planning, leading, organising and controling. Each of these functions is highly importnant and are among themselves are connected. We introduced the company Tinkal d.o.o., which is engaged in the retail sale. Its in charge of brands Okaidi and women'secret, the first one is headquartered in France and the other one in Spain. We also presented management within the company as well as its organizational structure. Below, we described the manager and its functions. In order for a manager to be succesful, he must be experienced and have the proper education, must have the ability to lead, to create a good working atmosphere withing the organization to motivate other member and to be able to achieve the set goals. There are many differences between leading (leadership) and the concept of management, so therefore we cannot equate them. Leading is influencing employees to do what they are told from the leader/manager. There are several models of leading such as the personal characteristics of leaders, behavior of managers and the situational leaderhip. We have seen in what manner runs the management in the company Tinkal and how the leader motivates and directs its staff to jointly achieve good results and set goals. Throughout this thesis, we found that the management of the company is crucial. Without a good manager sooner or later something goes wrong in the company, so it is important to have a competent and appropriately qualified person as a head or manager. The task is everything but easy and perhaps not everybody can be in this position, but with the years you gain experience and they connect with the prior knowledge, making it possible to become a good manager.
