Povzetek

Predmet diplomskega dela je družina s predšolskim otrokom s posebnimi potrebami. Do tega raziskovanja me je pripeljalo zanimanje in veselje za delo z otroki s posebnimi potrebami, ki so mi ga ti otroci vzbudili. Z otroki s posebnimi potrebami sem se srečevala že v obdobju srednješolskega izobraževanja, v študijskem obdobju pa sem imela priložnost spoznati tudi otroke s posebnimi potrebami, ki so v razvojnem oddelku. Skozi tedenske obiske razvojnega oddelka v Murski Soboti sem spoznavala delo z otroki s posebnimi potrebami, sodelovanje med starši in vzgojitelji in doživeto veselje otrok ob dejavnostih. Prav tako sem imela priložnost videti, kako veliko vlogo ima družina predšolskega otroka s posebnimi potrebami že samo, ko ga vodijo v vrtec, kaj šele pomeni vloga družine doma. Da bi dobila odgovore na vprašanja, kako sploh družina doživlja novico, da ima otroka s posebnimi potrebami, kako se s tem sooči, kako se vloga družine spremeni, s kakšnimi težavami se srečujejo ipd., sem opravila intervju z materami predšolskega otroka s posebnimi potrebami. V diplomskem delu sem najprej v teoretičnem delu predstavila nekaj splošnega o družini, nato sem se osredotočila predvsem na družino, ki ima otroka s posebnimi potrebami, na predšolske otroke s posebnimi potrebami, na vzgojo in izobraževanje, ki je ključnega pomena v otroštvu, in na posamezne kategorije otrok s posebnimi potrebami. Empirični del je tisti, v katerem so navedeni odgovori na raziskovalna vprašanja in preverjene hipoteze.

Sekundarni povzetek: This diploma thesis is focused on presenting a family who have a child with special needs. The reason why We have decided to do this research is my interest in working with children with special needs and the joy of being involved in this process. I came upon these children as early as in secondary school, while during my studies I had the opportunity to come into contact with children engaged in class units for children with special educational needs. During weekly visits of special class units in Murska Sobota, I came across working with children with special needs, the parent-teacher collaboration, and children's enthusiasm for classroom activities. I also had the opportunity to perceive the role of families with preschool children with special needs simply when taking them to the kindergarten, let alone their importance in their home environment. To get the answers to questions on how a family experiences the fact of having a child with special needs and how to confront it, how the role of family changes, the difficulties they encounter etc., I interviewed some mothers who have children with special needs. In the theoretical part of the diploma thesis, I presented some general facts about the family and hereinafter focused on the family who have a child with special needs, preschool children with special needs, education, which plays an essential part in childhood, and on various individual categories of children with special needs. The empirical part includes answers to research questions and verified hypotheses.
