V teoretičnem delu smo predstavili motoriko, motorični razvoj, motorične sposobnosti in spretnosti, učne metode in oblike, predmet naravoslovje in tehnika ter cilje, vrste gradiv in finomotorični test. Učenci četrte šole so bili najuspešnejši v sklopih prijemanje, ročne spretnosti, sestavljanje in postavljanje, učenci tretje šole so bili najuspešnejši v sklopu razvrščanje, učenci druge šole so bili najuspešnejši v sklopu risanje.

Sekundarni naslov: TESTING MANUAL SKILLS IN THE CONTEXT OF TEACHING THE SUBJECT NATURAL SCIENCES AND ENGINEERING IN THE 5TH GRADE
Sekundarni povzetek: The master's degree thesis with the title Testing Manual Skills in the Context of Teaching the Subject Natural Sciences and Engineering in the 5th Grade consists of a theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part we have introduced the terms motor skills, development of motor skills, teaching methods and forms, the subject natural sciences and engineering and its goals, types of material and the fine motor skills test. In the empirical part we have (with descriptive and causal nonexperimental methods) established differences in the development of manual skills on a non-probability convenience sample of 5th grade pupils from four primary schools. We have established the success of pupils at the fine motor skills test based on gender and location of the school. We have also established the success of schools at the fine motor skills test. Moreover, we have established the connection between the speed of solving the fine motor skills test and the pupils' final mark in the 4th grade in natural sciences and engineering. Overall, we have established the level of development of manual skills of 5th grade pupils. We have gathered data with a fine motor skills test, which consisted of 25 exercises, divided into 6 parts. 52 pupils, 27 boys and 25 girls, from 4 primary schools from the city or the country took part in the research. With the quantitative statistical processing we have found that girls were more successful than boys in all parts, except composition. Pupils from the country were more successful in all parts, except copying a more difficult model. As expected, the pupils with an excellent mark in the subject natural sciences and engineering in the 4th grade were more successful in the whole fine motor skills test than pupils with a very good mark. The pupils of the 4th school were most successful in the parts holding, manual skills, construction and composition, the pupils from the third school were most successful in sorting, and the pupils from the second school were most successful in drawing.
