Povzetek

Diplomsko delo obravnava odnos učiteljev razrednega pouka do predmeta likovna umetnost. V teoretičnem delu smo opredelili predmet likovna umetnost in opisali njegov pomen v osnovni šoli. Osvetlili smo razvoj predmeta likovna umetnost v evropskem prostoru in podrobneje razvoj tega predmeta na Slovenskem. V nadaljevanju smo raziskovali, kako je izobraževanje razrednih učiteljev potekalo v preteklosti in kako se prihodnji učitelji izobražujejo zdaj. V diplomsko delo smo vključili raziskavo, ki opisuje profile učiteljev likovne umetnosti. Cilj diplomskega dela je spoznati, kakšen je odnos učiteljev razrednega pouka do likovne umetnosti, kako se je ta odnos spreminjal skozi leta njihovega šolanja in profesionalne poti. Učitelje smo povprašali, kakšno je njihovo počutje ob poučevanju in katero področje likovne umetnosti imajo najraje. V raziskavi je sodelovalo 8 učiteljic, ki so bile intervjuvane, pogovor smo tudi posneli. Naredili smo transkripcijo in podatke analizirali. Ugotovili smo, da ima večina učiteljic dober odnos do likovne umetnosti in poučevanja, vendar opažajo nekaj pomanjkljivosti glede izobraževanja učiteljev tako v preteklosti kot v sedanjosti.

Sekundarni povzetek: The present thesis discusses a relation between primary school teachers and the subject of the visual arts. In the theoretical part, there is the subject of the visual arts defined and its purpose in primary schools described. The attention has been drawn to the development of this subject in both, Europe and in Slovenia more in details, which was followed by the analysis of the education of primary school teachers in the past; however, there was also the analysis of the current education of future primary school teachers made. The thesis includes the research on profiles of teachers of the visual arts as well. The goal of the thesis is to recognise the relation between primary school teachers and the visual arts, how this relation has been changing through years of their education and through their professional path. Teachers were asked questions about their feelings on teaching this subject and their desired field of the visual arts. Eight teachers participated in the research. They were interviewed, the conversation was recorded. The transcription was made and the data analysed. It was established that most of the teachers have a good relation towards the visual arts and teaching it as well, yet there have been some imperfections noticed regarding the teachers' education in the past and also in present days.
