Sekundarni povzetek: The structure of the police varies from country to country and with that comes down to differences in the functioning of the police-it is dependent on the political system of each country. Slovenia had divided the police into three levels, these are: the general police administration, police administration and police station. In Germany, the organisation is slightly different, because a State is already organized differently. The leadership of the police force is controlled by the federal police, at an intermediate stage is a federal crime office and the provincial police at an early stage. The structure of the police force of the United States was a bit more difficult to decipher, as it appears it has quite a few different arrangements. However the organisations does not differ too much fro Slovenian, that is divided into three levels, the u. s. on four levels and sublevels. This would probably be attributed to the size of the State and its regime. So the police of the United States is divided into federal, state (state and patrol police), district (sheriff's departments, the county cops) and local police. All three countries have uniformed police officers at the end of police authorities, which carry out the most police duties and are most often in contact with the people. The basic police powers and duties do not differ too much, unless we go into the details, then some of the differences are observed. Tasks are unified across countries, as it is the goal of each State police force to protect its citizens from the dangers of living and protects their property and to establish order and peace in the country. The major difference comes in police procedures, as for the hearing of the suspects, house investigations and also in the traffic control. Each country has written in the Constitution its human rights, which should not be violated. The police should therefore be careful in not coming to irregularities or violations. However it often comes to the violation of human rights, the states instruct a supervision of the work of the police, which helps the citizens to feel safe.
