Povzetek
Izhodišče. Motnje hranjenja so bolezen današnjega časa. Spadajo med duševnemotnje, ki lahko prizadenejo vsakogar, ne glede na spol, starost, raso ali vero in vplivajo na človekovo telesno in duševno zdravje. Vendar so za motnje hranjenja bolj dovzetne ženske. Pojavijo se lahko v vseh življenjskih obdobjih. Najpogostejše pa so v adolescenčnem obdobju. Namen diplomskega dela je predstaviti seznanjenost odraslih z motnjami hranjenja.
Metodologija raziskovanja.Raziskava je temeljila na kvantitativni metodologiji, kjer smo za zbiranje podatkov uporabili strukturiran vprašalnik.Raziskovalni vzorec je obsegal 60 oseb moškega in ženskega spola na ulicah mestne občine Ptuj, v starostni skupini od 20 do 68 let, kar pomeni aktivno populacijo. K sodelovanju smo jih povabili naključno. Raziskava je bila izvedena avgusta 2014.
Rezultati. Raziskava je pokazala, da več kot dve tretjini anketirancev ve, da so motnje hranjenja čustvene motnje, ki se kažejo v odnosu do hrane in potrebujejo strokovno zdravljenje. 97% anketirancev je vedelo, da motnje hranjenja najpogosteje prizadenejo ženske. Več kot polovica anketiranih je prepričanih, da so motnje hranjenja odvisnost zaradi pomanjkanja samozavesti in čustvenih težav, ki se kažejo v odnosu do hrane ter stresa in obsedenosti s svojo postavo.
Sklep. Motnje hranjenja so velik problem za sedanjost in zaskrbljujoč problem za prihodnost, saj so pogosto skrite, zato jih je potrebno čim prej prepoznati in začeti z zdravljenjem, da omogočimo nadaljnjo kakovostno življenje obolelega z motnjami hranjenja.

Starting point. Eating disorders are diseases of our time. They are mental disorders that can affect anyone, regardless of gender, age, race or religion and they affecta physical and mental health of a person. However, women are more susceptible for eating disorders. Eating disorders may occur in all stages of life. The most common are in the period of adolescence. The purpose of the diploma thesis is to present how much the adults know about eating disorders.
Methodology. The survey was based on a quantitative methodology, where the structured questionnaire was used to collect data. The research sample consisted of 60 males and females that we have met on the streets of Ptuj. They werefrom 20 to 68 years old, so they were an active population. We randomly invited them to cooperate. The survey was conducted in August 2014.
Results. The survey showed that more than two-thirds of the respondents know that eating disorders are mental disorders, which can be seen in relation to food and in the need of professional treatment. 97% of respondents is aware that eating disorders most commonly affect women. More than half of respondents believe that eating disorders are an addiction due to lack of self-esteem and emotional problems that are evident in relation to food, stress and obsession with own physique.
Conclusion. Eating disorders are a major problem for the present and worrying problem for the future, as they are often hidden.Therefore, it is necessary to identify them as early as possible and begin treatment to allow the continued quality of life for the sufferer with eating disorders. |
