Povzetek

Magistrsko delo obravnava problematiko zapuščene industrijske strukture na območju Bodenskega jezera oziroma prenove nekdanje ladjedelnice Bodan v Kressbronnu na Bodenskem jezeru. Cilj je prestrukturiranje industrijskega kompleksa in območja v novi razvojni potencial, ki bo skozi programsko prenovo postalo novo središče lokalnega okolja. V teoretičnem delu so podane temeljne razvojne priložnosti industrijske dediščine, glede na varstvo le-te, zgodovinski razvoj ladjedelnice Bodan, v nadaljevanju magistrskega dela pa podajamo analize primerov dobre prakse, ki prikazujejo obširnost problematike, vrednost industrijskih območij in izvedbo dobrih praktičnih rešitev. Kot rezultat teoretičnih izhodišč in analiz širšega in ožjega območja je predstavljena radikalno transformirana arhitekturna zasnova nove programske ureditve nekdanje ladjedelnice Bodan, in sicer v hotelsko - rekreativni center Bodan.

Sekundarni povzetek: The master thesis project focuses on the problem of abandoned industrial structures in the region of Lake Constance and engages the problem by proposing the renovation of the former Bodan shipyard in Kressbronn directly on Lake Constance itself. The aim of the project is to propose a restructuring of the industrial complex that transforms the immediate area around the shipyard and opens the door for widespread urban development in the region. This development has the potential to become the new central core of the region. The theoretical portion of the process necessarily addresses the basic development opportunities of historic industrial structures by understanding why it is important to preserve them, as well as the historical development of the Bodan shipyard. Furthermore, good practice responding to the pervasiveness of the problem, the value of industrial areas, and the performance of practical solutions are analysed and presented. Responding to the theoretical basis of the project and the analyses of wide and narrow areas, the final presentation proposes a radically transformed programmatic overhaul of the former Bodan shipyard into the hotel and recreation center.
