Sekundarni povzetek: | The problem of this thesis is tracking the sun with a photovoltaic panel. The vertical axis rotation drive used in this thesis is an alternative to an already existing project. I have examined the possibility of using a large axial ball bearing with integrated gears, that is driven by an electric motor via a pinion. There was conducted a structural strength calculation of both gears and ballbearing. The gears were calculated using equations from an university textbook, calculation of the ball bearing however was conducted using a special computer program developed in Faculty of mechanical engineering Maribor. The results show that altough this drive is structuraly sound it doesn´t represent a favorable sollution. The sollution from an existing project which uses a worm gear proves to be a better one. |
