diplomsko delo
Povzetek
V diplomskem delu so opisani nekateri sociološki vidiki spremenjene vloge ženske v Sloveniji in Bosni in Hercegovini po letu 1991. Ženske so pomemben del družbe, vendar so premalo cenjene. Še vedno so v manjšini, zapostavljene, neenake moškim, diskriminirane.

Some sociological aspects of the changed role of women in Slovenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina since 1991 |
Sekundarni povzetek: |
The thesis describes some sociological aspects of the changed role of a woman in Slovenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina after 1991. Women are an important part of society but they are not respected enough and they are still in minority, ignored, unequal to men, discriminated. It is also known that the attitude of a society towards women is the criterion for its democracy. On a symbolic level, this relationship is seen in the government institutions, such as parliament, the government, such as political parties and unions. We will be also interested in the attitude towards women in Slovenia and attitude towards women in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Do they look at a woman as a working, modest, humble, lovely, morally pure mother or as a public despised whore? Does society in Slovenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina see a woman as a mother of God, surrounded by glowing or Eve- who is a beginner of curse? (Cigale M. in drugi, 1992, 7-9) In this thesis, we focused only on the role of women in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Slovenia, and in a period of twenty-one years, when the two countries decided for the independence and left the former Yugoslavia- Slovenia's way of independence was peaceful and quiet but Bosnia and Herzegovina had a war which lasted almost four years. We wanted to know what was the attitude towards women at that time and how the role of women changed in both countries in the field of family, policy, education and employment. Interest to us was what is the role of women in both societies in relation to the impact of religion, which has a major role in the country and how religion affects society and directly the woman. We will ask successful, important, well-known Slovenian and Bosnian women, what is their opinion about women's role and if they have a feeling that they are discriminated. Because when women talk about themselves, about their problems, reality that they are living, women show us the truth and only truth will be revealed - that a woman is a human being. |
