Sekundarni povzetek: New system of insurance company management, which is being implemented by the Solvency II directive, ensures higher stability and transparecy of insurance companies' business. Hence, it also guarantees better protection of their clients as users of various insurance services. Higher administrative costs at the implementation of Solvency II directive can be regarded as its only negative consequence. However, in the long term, the directive should positively influence the insurance companies' business operations. The Corporate Governance of insurance companies thus provides more ethical practice for insurance sector and consequently brings higher degree of trust into the existing insurance services and products.
