Sekundarni povzetek: | The doctoral dissertation discusses the management of the self-evaluation process in the segment of secondary vocational education and training. In the first part the author presents the theoretical starting points for assessing and assuring quality in education as well as the scientific findings on self-evaluation made, which form the basis for the empirical research study presented in the second part of the dissertation. The main purpose was to study the existing state of affairs in managing self-evaluation activities in Slovenian secondary schools for vocational education and training in order to examine the effectiveness of different models/approaches in practice as well as schools% professional and legal responsibilities from the aspect of developmental orientation and the system. The key findings of the empirical research study demonstrate that there exist differences in perceiving quality among the selected schools and varying approaches to self-evaluation. The author has also established that there are significant differences among the schools concerning the perception of the self-evaluation process and the role of the self-evaluation report. |
