Sekundarni povzetek: | The thesis discusses time-dependent numerical simulation of a flow driven hydrokinetic turbine. We designed a numerical simulation on the basis of the prescribed water flow that establishes a hydrokinetic turbine rotor. Two numerical simulations were carried out for different water flows and a mutual comparison of the two. Results comparing the rotational speed, torque on the turbine and power show the consistency of the results according to different given boundary conditions of both numerical simulations. With the help of these numerical simulations we can effectively establish the response of turbines in various conditions of a flow field of a river and to determine improved characteristics of the turbine on the basis of changes in the geometry of the turbine, which is affordable and less time-consuming as would be the implementation of the experiment. |
