diplomsko delo

Ti slovarji so naslednji: Slovensko-nemški slovar Maksa Pleteršnika (1894-1895), Slovar slovenskega jezika Jože Glonarja (1936), Slovenski pravopis (1950), Slovenski pravopis (1962), Slovar slovenskega knjižnega jezika (1994; spletna izdaja 2014) in Slovenski pravopis (2001; spletna izdaja 2014).

Sekundarni povzetek: Diploma thesis offers insight into the part of language deemed foul. Foul language consists of curses and swearwords which are not only a part of cultural heritage, but also a part of everday conversation. Curses and swearwords appear in music, movies, literature. Curses and swearwords have different functions, although people generally see those words as fillers. Every nation needs to know their own language as a whole, which is why it should be studied as well. One of the main tasks of language is to connect a nation and to raise national awareness. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on defining the terms curse and swearword, identifying their role in the language, and presentation of the dictionaries in which curses and swearwords presented in the thesis are included. The main dictionaries under the consideration in this thesis are: Pleteršnik's Slovene-German Dictionary (1884-1885), Glonar's Dictionary of the Slovenian Language (1936), Slovenian Normative Guide (1950), Slovenian Normative Guide (1962), The Dictionary of Standard Slovenian (1994), and Slovenian normative Guide (2001). The purpose of the empirical part of this thesis is the systematic presentation of selected curses and swearwords which are classified in tables according to their structure. The comparison of curses and swearwords was made with the help of comparative method. The analysis of selected curses and swearwords was made with analysis method. Very few researches were done on this subject which was the inspiration for this thesis.
