(magistrsko delo)
Raziskovalna metodologija. Analizirali smo domačo in tujo literaturo iz strokovnega področja. Uporabili smo kvantitativno in kvalitativno metodo dela.
Sklep.

A MODEL OF COMPETENT IMPLEMENTATION OF HEALTH CARE ACTIVITIES |
Sekundarni povzetek: |
Nursing is an interdisciplinary science that covers the independent activities such as diagnostics, planning, organization, implementing and control of all activities within the health care. Only properly trained and qualified staff with appropriate material and operating conditions can is competent to perform nursing activities. Nursing competence includes all the knowledge, skills and abilities that the health worker has acquired through formal and continuous education, occupational or other experience (Može, 2005). The purpose of the master's thesis was to investigate the views of nursing personel on the factors affecting competent execution of nursing activities and develop a model of competent implementation thereof.
Research methodology. We have analyzed the domestic and foreign literature covering this profession. We used quantitative and qualitative methods of work. We carried out a research, which was based on a survey consisting of open and closed questions. The survey was conducted in Murska Sobota General Hospital in July 2015. 95 percent of the 200 questionnaires distributed were returned, representing our sample.
Limitations. Some surveys were not answered correctly, which was taken into account in statistical data processing.
Results. Employees in nursing department believe in the vast majority, that they competently carry out their activities. This does not apply in the statement "I have sufficient time to carry out activities" and "we have enough staff in the department." The differences between age groups were statistically significant in two statements: "I have a lot of practical and life experiences" and "I have sufficient time to carry out activities." The employees also feel competent enough to carry out the activities and tasks that are assigned to them in the process of nursing. Almost two thirds of respondents are familiar with the documents, defining their competences and responsibilities, 45 out of 56 also knew to list those documents. 21 of the 73 respondents believe they can influence/hinder the factors for competently exercising of nursing activities, 52 of them believe the factors can not be controlled.
Conclusion. The basis for quality excercising of nursing are knowledge, expertise and practical qualifications of health professionals. Health care workers in nursing must not only be its performers, but must be active subjects in the process of work. Conducted research has shown that the competent execution of nursing care requires theoretical knowledge, practical experience, special skills and a great set of positive personal qualities and abilities. |
