Povzetek

Diplomsko delo raziskuje bralne navade osnovnošolcev drugega in tretjega triletja v občini Kozje. Namen dela je raziskati, kaj najraje počnejo učenci drugega in tretjega triletja v prostem času, ali berejo tudi v prostem času, ali učenci radi berejo, ali berejo več dekleta ali fantje, ali obiskujejo šolsko in splošno knjižnico, ali so med dekleti in fanti razlike v izboru knjig, ki jih radi prebirajo, ali berejo le obvezno literaturo, ali je domače branje priljubljeno med učenci, ali so med dekleti in fanti razlike v priljubljenosti domačega branja, ali so med razredi razlike v priljubljenosti domačega branja, ali so razlike med dekleti in fanti v priljubljenosti bralne značke, ali je tekmovanje iz slovenščine za Cankarjevo priznanje priljubljeno med učenci, ali učenci potrebujejo dopolnilni pouk pri slovenščini, ali obiskujejo dodatni pouk pri slovenščini, ali radi pišejo spise na temo iz književnosti in ali menijo, da berejo dovolj. V teoretičnem deluje opredeljeno branje, vrste branja in bralne stopnje ter različni vplivi na mladostnike in na branje. V empiričnem delu pa so predstavljeni rezultati izvedenega anketnega vprašalnika, v katerem je sodelovalo 119 učencev drugega in tretjega triletja dveh osnovnih šol v občini Kozje. Rezultati kažejo, da osnovnošolci ne berejo radi in nekateri v branju vidijo celo dejavnik, ki jim vzame prosti čas. Nekaterim pa je branje koristno, jih sprošča in zabava ter se jim zdi zanimivo. Veliko je osnovnošolcev, ki radi berejo in zato tudi radi sodelujejo pri bralni znački in na tekmovanju iz slovenščine za Cankarjevo priznanje, kjer dosegajo lepe rezultate.

Sekundarni povzetek: This degree paper discusses the reading habits of the second and third three-year cycle pupils in Kozje municipality. We try to do a research of what these second and third three-year cycle pupils prefer to do in their free time, do they read in their free time, do they like reading, do girls read more or do boys read more, do they go to the school library and the town's library, are there differences in girls' and boys' choices of books they like to read, do they only read what is required, do they like required reading, are there differences in whether boys or girls like required reading, are there differences in which grades prefer required reading, are there differences in who prefers the reading badge: boys or girls, do pupils like the competition for the Cankar award, do pupils need extra lessons to help them in Slovenian language, do they attend extra lessons of Slovenian language for better students, do they like writing essays in literature, do they think they readenough. In the theoretical part of the degree paper there is a definition of reading, types of reading, reading stages and different influences on young people and reading. In the empirical part I present the results of the questionnaire which was taken by 119 pupils of the second and third three-year cycle at two schools in Kozje municipality. The results show that the elementary pupils don't like to read. Some of them even see reading as something that robs them of their free time. However, most of them find reading useful, it relaxes them, they think it's fun and interesting. There's a large number of pupils who like to read and take part in reading badge and in competition for Cankar award, where they achieve good results.
