magistrsko delo Management v zdravstvu im socialnem varstvu

THE IMPACT OF NEURO-LINGUISTIC PROGRAMMING ON REDUCING BURNOUT NURSE |
Sekundarni povzetek: |
Burnout has become a serious problem of today's time. It affects both the burnout person and people who are in contact with him. It also affects the entire organization, employers, patients, family, and it especially cripples an individual, who may because of burnout loss the job, health, reputation and inner peace. Due to the continuous technological developments the basic content of the work is changing and also the workload of employees is increasing. Pressures generated by unfavorable conditions, in particular, psychological stresses is under attack which is typically in the service industry. The consequences of these pressures lead to more often stress experience and, consequently, all of the stress-related diseases, one of them is burnout.
In the theoretical part of the thesis we presented signs and stages of burnout, we also present the risk factors for burnout. We've described some off some of the Neuro-linguistic programming techniques which help to avoid stressful situations, and consequently burnout. Below we have conducted a study using a questionnaire, which was completed by the graduate nurses and nursing technicians from Slovenj Gradec General Hospital. We have came to the conclusion that their work is greatly inclined to burnout, and that the use of techniques and skills neurolinguistic programming offers help and prevent burnout. It turns out that the techniques and skills of the neuro-linguistic programming, which are used on a subconscious level, do not affect the improved relations with colleagues and patiences. It was found that burnout does not affect the professionalism of nurses. |
