Dobljeno oceno ekološke usmerjenosti smo nato primerjali z rezultati anketnih vprašalnikov in podali končno oceno ekološke usmerjenosti štirih skupin. Na podlagi končne ocene smo ovrgli obe hipotezi, saj nismo našli nobenih pomembnih odstopanj v ekološki usmerjenosti med vsemi štirimi skupinami.

Sekundarni naslov: Ecological orientation of citizens of Municipality of Maribor with special emphasis on gardeners
Sekundarni povzetek: In the theoretical part of the thesis Ecological orientation of the citizens of the Municipality of Maribor (MOM), with special emphasis on the gardeners, the difference between anthropocentric and eco-centric orientation was defined and different definitions of urban gardening and urban agriculture around the world and in Slovenia were described. Ecological orientation or worldview of the individual has an important influence on its attitude towards the environment, as well as the city with its environmental impact of development policies, on its population and the urban environment. In the empirical part, we examined whether H1: MOM follows sustainable development in the field of urban gardening and promotes urban gardening, which was disproved. We used the following methods: interviews with key informants, field observation and photo interpretation as well as the comparison between the cities Vienna and Maribor. H2: There is a difference in orientation between the organic gardeners and non-gardeners, namely gardeners are more eco-centric orientated, non-gardeners are orientated more anthropocentric. and H3: There is a difference between Community eco-certified urban garden and gardeners in Tezno, namely gardeners of Community eco-certified urban garden are more eco-centric orientated, gardeners in Tezno are more anthropocentric orientated. We assessed ecological orientation of the respondents with a qualitative measurement scale of the ecological orientation, using questionnaires and field observations. Specifically, we had made analysis of the questionnaire New ecological paradigm from R. Dunlop, through which we evaluated the ecological orientation of the four groups. The resulting assessment of ecological orientation was then compared with the results of the questionnaires and gave a final assessment of the ecological orientation of the four groups. Based on the final evaluation we have refuted both hypotheses, since we did not find any significant deviations in ecological orientation among all four groups.
