Povzetek

V zadnjih desetletjih se je povpraševanje po hrani pridelani na naraven način zelo povečalo, saj smo zaradi povečanega števila bolezni postali bolj ozaveščeni o zdravem načinu prehranjevanja. Govorimo o ekološko pridelani hrani, s katero varujemo svoje zdravje, okolje in skrbimo za prihodnje generacije. Ekološko pridelana hrana je boljšega okusa in ima večjo prehransko vrednost, saj ne vsebuje škodljivih kemikalij, pesticidov in gensko spremenjenih organizmov. Pozitivnih lastnosti ekološko pridelane hrane se zaveda vse več ljudi in jo tudi uživa. Kljub zavedanju o pomembnosti ekološko pridelane hrane ter pozitivnemu odnosu si je mnogi ne morejo privoščiti, saj je dražja od neekološko pridelane hrane. Porabnik ekološko pridelane hrane je pogosto ženskega spola, ima višjo stopnjo izobrazbe, je bolj premožen ter ima majhne otroke. V teoretičnem delu smo opredelili, kaj je ekološko pridelana hrana ter jo primerjali s konvencionalno pridelano hrano. Zatem smo pojasnili, kateri so pooblaščeni certifikacijski organi v Sloveniji, kako označujemo ekološko pridelano hrano, kaj je ekološko kmetijstvo in kakšno je stanje v ekološkem kmetijstvu pri nas. Opredelili smo porabnika ekološko pridelane hrane in njegov odnos do ekološko pridelane hrane, kateri so motivi in ovire za nakup tovrstno pridelane hrane ter trg ekološko pridelane hrane v Sloveniji. V empiričnem delu smo predstavili rezultate raziskave izvedene med študenti Ekonomsko-poslovne fakultete v Mariboru, v kateri smo želeli ugotoviti, kakšen odnos imajo študentje do ekološko pridelane hrane. Ugotovili smo, da imajo študentje Ekonomsko-poslovne fakultete v Mariboru pozitiven odnos do ekološko pridelane hrane. Študentje so pokazali, da se zavedajo koristnosti ekološko pridelane hrane za njihovo zdravje in okolje. Pripravljeni so jo tudi kupiti, čeprav se strinjajo, da je dražja od neekološko pridelane hrane.

Sekundarni povzetek: Demand for food grown in more natural way, also known under term organic food, has increased in last decades. Main reason for that are new diseases, which caused that people became more conscious about healtier ways of eating habits. Organic food has positive infects on our health, environment and it guarantees future for our next generations. Organic food has many benefits like better taste and nutritional value because it has less harmful chemicals, pesticides and genetically modified organisms. More and more people are aware of positive features of organic food, that is why consumption is increasing. Important characteristic of organic food is also higher price which results that not everybody can afoord to buy such food. Consumer of organic foood are usually women, people with higher education, wealthier and has children. A survey is devided into theoretical and ampirical part. In theoretical part we define what organic food is and than we comparedi it to conventional grown food. Following that we presented authorized certificates in Slovenia, labeling of organic food, organic agriculture and condition of organic agriculture in Slovenia In Theoretical part of survey we defined what organic food is and what are the differences to convencional grown food. Further on we named certification bodies in Slovenia,wee xplained how organic food is marked, what is organic farming and what is his position in Slovenia. Than we descriped a tipical organic food consumer in Slovenia, which are his motives and obstacles for purchasing organic food, and descripet organic food market in Slovenia. In empirical part we presented the results of survey on attitude of students of Economic and Bussines Faculty from Maribor to organically grown food. We discovered that students have a positive attitude to organic food. Through the survey they have shown that they are aware of positive aspects to health end environment. They are prepared to buy it altohough they noe that is more expensive, than convencional grown food.
