Povzetek

Naslov diplomske naloge je Osnovna šola Maksa Durjave. Namen dela je bil raziskati in potem predstaviti nastanek in delovanje Osnoven šole Maksa Durjave od njenega začetka do današnjih dni. Za boljše razumevanje nastanka šole je bil potreben vpogled v širšo zgodovino samega šolstva na slovenskem ozemlju. Ker se šola nahaja v Mariboru sem predstavila tudi mesto in raziskala kako je to vplivalo na razvoj Osnovne šole Maksa Durjave. Največja prelomnica za šolo je bila leta 1960/1961, ko je šola končno dobila svoje prostore in se je tako iz Žolgarjevi ulici št. 4 preselila na Ruško cesto 15 ob reki Dravi, kjer stoji še danes. Veliko truda je bilo vloženega v samo izgradnjo šole. Šola pa je prav zadihala šele, ko so vanjo vstopili učenci ter napolnili šolske prostore z otroškim smehom in željo po raziskovanju in učenju vsega novega. Zanimali so me predvsem začetki šole in kako se je skozi čas spopadala s številnimi ovirami, ki so ji stale na poti. Od samega začetka pa vse do danes je na šoli prišlo do velikih sprememb tako v zgradbi kot tudi v neposredni bližini šole. Že v njenem samem začetku, ko je na Ruški cesti 15 stala še Magdalenska deška osnovna šola je šolo zadela bomba in to kar 2 x. Prvič jo je zadela 13. februarja 1945, ko je bomba zadela šolo in jo delno porušila. Ponovno jo je bomba zadela 1. marca, ko jo je dokončno porušila. Na tem mestu je je kasneje odprla svoja vrata nova Osnovna šola Maksa Durjave. Podrobneje sem se poglobila v samo organizacijo pouka in ugotavljanju, katere interesne dejavnosti so potekale tekom šolskega leta. Skozi desetletja se je spreminjalo tudi socialno stanje družin učencev, kar je tudi posledično vplivalo na zdravstveno stanje otrok. Skozi vsa leta sem sledila končnemu uspehu učencev in ga primerjala. Pri nalogi sem uporabljala več raziskovalnih metod za nastanek teoretičnega diplomskega dela: deskriptivna metoda, komparativna metoda, zgodovinska metoda in postopek zbiranja podatkov.

Sekundarni povzetek: The title of my diploma thesis is Primary School Maksa Durjave. The aim of this thesis was first to research and later to present the formation and operation of the school from its inception to the present day. Insight into broader history of school system in Slovenia was needed to provide a better understanding of formation of the school. Since the school is located in Maribor I also presented the city and researched what impact it had on the development of Primary School Maksa Durjave. The school's biggest turning point was in 1960/1961 when the school finally got its premises and thus moved from Žolgarjeva Street 4 to Ruška Street 15 along the river Drava, where it is still situated. A lot of effort was put into its building but the school only came alive when first pupils entered and filled the school's premises with children's laughter and desire to explore and to learn all that is new. I was mostly interested in the beginnings of the school and how it faced the many obstacles that stood on the way. Many major changes took place in the structure of the building as well as in the immediate vicinity of the school from its beginning to the present day. Magdalenska boy's school was situated in Ruška Street. It was bombed twice, first 13 February 1945 when it was partially destructed and later 1 March when it was finally destructed. Later the Primary School Maksa Durjave was build there. The organisation of lessons was researched in detail as well as determining which extracurricular activities took place. The changing social welfare of families influenced the health of children. I also compared the final success of pupils. Different research methods were used in the formation of the theoretical diploma thesis: descriptive method, comparative method, historical method and data collection process.
