Povzetek

Otroci v vrtcu veliko časa preživijo v naravi in ker so zelo dobri opazovalci, so velikokrat opazili pajke. Te živali so občudovali in kar niso mogli stran od njih. Posebno pozornost je vzbudila "velikanska" pajkova mreža, ki smo jo vsako jutro opazovali skozi okno igralnice. V otrocih je vzbudila pristno radovednost in željo po raziskovanju in odkrivanju te zanimive živali in njenega bivališča. To je bil povod za pripravo projekta na temo pajki, ki smo ga predstavili in ovrednotili v okviru našega diplomskega dela. V teoretičnem delu diplomske naloge smo predstavili pajke in izkustveno učenje, na katerem bo temeljilo projektno delo. V empiričnem delu diplomske naloge smo najprej pripravili projekt o pajkih, ki je vključeval izkustveno učenje, skupinsko delo in raziskovanje. Otroci so spoznavali pajke z gojitvijo v igralnici in neposredno v naravi. Delo je obsegalo priprave na gojitev in vzdrževanje gojitvene posode, hranjenje, opazovanje in se je zaključilo z vračanjem pajkov v njihovo naravno okolje. Cilj diplomske naloge je bil tudi ugotoviti, kako projekt na temo pajki vpliva na znanje, odnos in predstave otrok o pajkih. V projekt smo vključili 17 otrok iz vrtca Moravske Toplice, starih od 4 do 6 let. Z ustnim anketiranjem smo najprej raziskali, kakšni so znanje, predstave in odnos otrok do pajkov. Po anketiranju smo izvedli projektno delo. Po koncu projekta smo otroke ponovno ustno anketirali. Primerjava odgovorov pred in po projektu o pajkih je pokazala, da so otroci pridobili veliko znanja o pajkih, spremenil se je tudi njihov odnos do teh živali. Spoznali so, da so tudi pajki živali, s katerimi je potrebno spoštljivo in odgovorno ravnati. Nekaj otrok, ki je imelo prej strah pred pajki, je zdaj le-tega premagalo.

Sekundarni povzetek: Children in kindergartens spend a lot of time in nature and since they are very good observers, they often notice spiders. They admire them and cannot get away from them. The "giant" spider web that we looked at every morning out of the playroom window raised their special attention. It also raised children's genuine curiosity and desire to research and explore these fascinating animals and their habitat. This was the reason to prepare a project on the topic of spiders, which we presented and evaluated in the context of our diploma thesis. In the theoretical part of this thesis we presented spiders and experiential learning, which is going to be the basis of our project work. In the empirical part of this thesis, we first made a project about spiders, which includes experiential learning, group work and research. Children have learned about spiders by breeding them in the playroom, and directly in nature. The work consisted of preparations for breeding and maintenance of the breeding container, feeding, observation, and ended with returning the spiders in their natural environment. The aim of this study was also to determine how a project on the topic of spiders will impact children's knowledge, ideas and attitude towards spiders. 17 children from Moravske Toplice kindergarten, aged 4 to 6 were included in the project. Through oral questioning, we first gained an inside into children's knowledge, ideas and attitude towards spiders. After the questioning, we carried out the project work. After the end of the project, the children were re-questioned orally. The comparison about spiders before and after the project showed that children gained a lot of knowledge about spiders, and they have changed their attitude towards these animals. They learned that spiders are animals that need to be treated with respect and with responsibility. Some of the children, who were previously afraid of spiders, have overcome their fear.
