(diplomsko delo)
V diplomi smo uporabili deskriptivno in kvalitativno metodo dela.

ATTITUDES OF PARENTS OF PRE-SCHOOL AND SCHOOL CHILD HEALTH CLINIC ABOUT VACCINATION IN KRŠKO MUNICIPALITY |
Sekundarni povzetek: |
Lately we are often wondering if there is insufficient consciousness among parents in Slovenia about the importance of getting your child vaccinated. There are more and more individualists and associations who stir up the public with their statements against children vaccination. Moreover, we are increasingly witnessing numerous websites and sometimes even negative media which is putting doubt into the safety of vaccination. Our aim was to find out what parents of preschool and school-age children think about children vaccination in our municipality. We were interested in who gives them the most important and useful information regarding vaccination. Furthermore we wanted to find out if they think vaccination is important and if they would get their children vaccinated if it would not be obligatory. In this diploma paper we used descriptive and qualitative research methods. In July 2016 we have carried out an anonymous survey about parents’ opinion regarding vaccination. In the survey took part 100 parents of preschool and school-age parents, who during this time have come for a preventive or curative medical examination in the preschool or school-age dispensary of health care centre Krško or Senovo. Results of the survey have shown that the majority of parents (89, 7 %) of preschool and school-age children in the municipality Krško think vaccination is indeed necessary. Only a share of them (10,3 %) is against vaccination. In case of non obligatory vaccination the majority of parents would still get their children vaccinated. The answer to where they receive the most useful information regarding vaccination was almost equally, with only 1 % difference, that they receive it from nurses. On the second place, right after nurses, they receive the information from their doctors. |
