Povzetek
Splet postaja vse širše dostopen, stroški povezave se zmanjšujejo, vse več naprav je opremljenih z brezžično povezljivostjo in z vgrajenimi senzorji, stroški tehnologije se zmanjšujejo itd. Vse to je botrovalo nastanku pravšnjega okolja za t. i. internet stvari. Izraz internet stvari je vse pogostejši predmet pogovorov, tako na delovnem mestu kot zunaj njega. Gre za koncept, ki nima le potenciala vplivati na način našega življenja, ampak tudi na način našega dela. Preprosto povedano, to je koncept, ki povezuje katerokoli napravo s spletom. Vključuje vse, od mobilnih telefonov, aparatov za kavo, pralnih strojev, svetilk in skoraj vsega drugega, kar si je sploh mogoče predstavljati. To velja tudi za sestavne dele strojev, na primer motor letala ali sveder v naftni industriji. Obstajajo veliko primerov, kako naj bi to izgledalo oziroma kakšna naj bi bila potencialna vrednost. Internet stvari se lahko uporablja za stvari, kot so prometna omrežja: t. i. pametna mesta, ki nam pomagajo pri zmanjševanju odpadkov in izboljševanju učinkovitosti za področja, kot je poraba energije.
Industrija 4.0 in industrijski internet stvari sta izraza, ki ju je sprejelo združenje univerze, podjetij, sindikatov in državnih organov, z njima je povezana vizija proizvodnih sektorjev v prihodnosti. Industrijski internet stvari bo zahteval nove ravni sodelovanja med poslovnimi partnerji, ki združujejo svoje izdelke in storitve za zadovoljitev potreb strank. Spremenili se bodo celotni poslovni modeli, komunikacije med zaposlenimi in stroji ter odnosi in povezave med stroji. Najnovejši val tehnoloških sprememb bo prinesel povsem nove priložnosti za podjetja, skupaj z novimi tveganji. Industrijski internet stvari bo spodbujal rast produktivnosti s predstavitvijo novih priložnosti za nadgradnjo znanja zaposlenih ter ustvaril nove vrste delovnih mest.
Količina podatkov v našem svetu je v velikem razvoju in nenehno narašča. Podjetja zajemajo bilijone bajtov informacij o svojih kupcih, dobaviteljih, poslovnih operacijah. Trend, ki se dodaja na velike podatke, je seveda internet stvari. Osnovna ideja tega revolucionarnega koncepta je, da bo skoraj vsak objekt ali naprava imela IP naslov, ti pa bodo med seboj povezani. Glede na to, da bo povezano domala neskončno število naprav, bo količina generiranih podatkov ogromna, tako da bo učinkovitost mehanizmov zbiranja, analiziranja in varnosti podatkov vprašljiva.

Internet is becoming more widely available, the costs of connections are reduced, more devices are created with Wi-Fi capabilities and sensors embedded in them, technology costs are reduced... All these things have created a perfect environment for the Internet of things. The term Internet of things, becomes increasingly growing topic of discussion, both at the workplace and outside it. This is a concept, that not only has the potential to has an impact on the way we live, but also how do we work. It is basically a concept that connects any device with internet. This includes everything, from mobile smart phones, coffee makers, washing machines, lamps and almost everything else you can think of. This also applies to parts of machinery, such as engine airplane or a drill in the oil industry. There are many examples of how it should look like or what the potential value would be. Internet of things can be used for such things as transport networks, “smart cities” which are helping us reduce the waste of resources and increase effectiveness for things like energy consumption.
However, industry 4.0 and industrial internet of things are two expressions, accepted from a coalition of universities, companies, unions and government departments. These terms forecast for the vision of the productive sectors in the future. Industrial internet of things will require a new level of cooperation between business partners in order to meet customer needs. They will change the entire business models, communications between employees and machines as well as relationships and connections between machines. The latest wave of technological change will also bring new opportunities along with new risks for the organizations. Industrial internet of things will enhance productivity growth by presenting new opportunities to upgrade skills of employees and creating new types of jobs.
The amount of data in our world is in a great development and still growing. Companies include trillions of bytes of informations about their customers, suppliers and business operations. A trend that adds to the big data, of course is the internet of things. The basic idea of internet of things is almost any object or device has an IP address and is connected to another. Given the fact that millions of devices are connected, the amount of generated data is going to be large, so the efficiency of the mechanisms of collecting, analyzing and data security will be under question. |
