Povzetek

Koncept Reggio Emilia je sodoben koncept s četrt stoletja izkušenj, izpopolnjevanja, dograjevanja zasnov, iskanja boljših idej na osnovi odraza v praksi. Sam koncept sledi toku časa, se temu prilagaja in ves čas izpopolnjuje. Ima kar nekaj elementov, ki so jih strokovnjaki v vseh teh letih prepoznali kot dobre in primerne za uvedbo v javne vrtce kot nadgradnja in dopolnitev že obstoječega Kurikuluma za vrtce. Diplomsko delo sestavljata teoretični in empirični del. V teoretičnem delu bodo predstavljeni prepoznani kakovostni elementi, kot so: vpetost vrtca v kulturno okolje, participacija otrok ter vzgojiteljevo poslušanje otrok, uporaba in razvoj čutov v spoznavnem procesu, možnost različnih oblik izražanja, prednost učenja pred poučevanjem, interakcija in komunikacija vseh udeležencev v vzgojnem procesu, projektno delo, dokumentiranje vzgojnega procesa, vloga prostora. Predstavljena bo tudi vloga in pomen vzgojitelja v takšnem vrtcu, timsko delo, sodelovanje s starši, položaj otroka. Poiskane bodo povezave z obstoječim Kurikulumom za vrtce ter Belo knjigo o vzgoji in izobraževanju. Predstavili bomo tudi vrtec Radeče, ki že uvaja predstavljene elemente koncepta Reggio Emilia. V empiričnem delu pa bodo predstavljeni rezultati raziskave v omenjenem vrtcu, kjer smo strokovne delavce povprašali o pomembnosti uvedbe posameznih elementov in želji po dodatnih izobraževanjih.

Sekundarni povzetek: Reggio Emilia is a modern concept with a quarter of a century worth of experience, perfecting, improvement of design, and searching of better ideas based on practice outcomes. The whole concept keeps up with the times, and is constantly adapted and perfected. During these years, several of its elements have been recognised by scholars as good and appropriate to implement into public preschools as an upgrade and complement of the existing preschool curriculum. This bachelor's paper consists of a theoretical part and an empirical part. The focus of the theoretical part is on the qualitative elements such as: the integration of the preschool in the cultural environment, children's participation and teacher's listening to children, the use and development of senses in the cognitive process, the possibility of different ways of expressing, the priority of learning before teaching, the interaction and communication of all participants in the education process, project work, documenting the educational process, the role of space. Further emphases of the paper include the role and significance of the teacher in such a preschool, teamwork, the cooperation with parents, and the status of the child. In addition, the paper searches for connections with the existing preschool curriculum and the document "Bela knjiga o vzgoji in izobraževanju." The bachelor's paper includes a presentation of the preschool Radeče, which is currently in the process of implementing Reggio Emilia elements. The empirical part includes the results of the research in the above mentioned preschool, where the professional staff was asked about the relevance of implementing specific elements and the wish for additional training.
