Povzetek
EPS je ekspandirani polistiren, ki je komercialno bolj poznan pod imenom stiropor. Polistiren PS dobimo s polimerizacijo monostirena (derivat pri predelavi nafte) ob prisotnosti peroksidov kot katalizatorjev.
Tako pridobljena osnovna surovina se pakira v kartonaste zabojnike in je pripravljena za nadaljnjo tehnološko predelavo na predekspanderju, blokformi in nazadnje še na razrezu, kjer dobimo končno obliko izdelka iz EPS-a.
Za potrebe naloge se je izdelalo večje število poizkusnih blokov z različnimi nastavitvami časov in tlakov na novem predekspanderju in novi blokformi.
Glavni namen naloge je izboljšati proizvodni proces izdelave EPS in z nabavo nove strojne opreme zmanjšati vpliv človeškega faktorja na kvaliteto izdelka in s tem poceniti izdelke.
Glede na to, da so standardizirane samo mehanske in fizične lastnosti EPS-a, ne pa tudi njegova gostota, pomeni, da se lahko izdelajo lažji bloki iz EPS-a, zagotoviti pa moramo deklarirane lastnosti izdelkov, kar jih poceni, in to je bil cilj naše naloge.
Ker v strukturi lastne cene izdelka predstavlja vhodna surovina cca 50 % , so taki prihranki na račun zniževanja gostote EPS-a veliki.

EPS represents the expanded polystyrene, which is in commercial terms better known under the name styropor. Polystyrene PS is obtained with the process of polymerisation of monostyren (derivative in the oil refining process) in the presence of peroxides as catalysts. The basic raw material thus obtained is packed into containers made of cardboard and is prepared for further technological processing on the pre-expander, block form and finally also on the cutting, where we obtain the final shape of the product made of expanded polystyrene EPS. A larger number of test blocks have been made for the purposes of this diploma thesis, which included different time and pressure settings on the new pre-expander and on the new block form. The main purpose of our work is to improve the production process of implementing the EPS as well as to use the supply of the new and modern mechanical equipment in order to diminish the influence of the human factor on the product quality and thus make the products cheaper. Taking into account that only the mechanical and the physical characteristics of the EPS are also standardized characteristics, but not its density, this shall mean that lighter blocks may be carried out of EPS, however, we must ensure the declared product characteristics, which makes the products cheaper and that was also the primary purpose of our diploma thesis. Due to the fact that the entry raw material represents approximately 50 % in the structure of the product’s cost price, are such savings, at the cost of reducing the density of EPS, quite large. |
