Povzetek

V diplomskem delu so predstavljene bralne navade in zanimanja učencev 6. in 8. razredov na Osnovni šoli Ormož. Diplomsko delo je razdeljena na uvodni, teoretični in empirični del, kjer je predstavljena raziskava, rezultati in interpretacija, ter na sklep. V teoretičnem delu je najprej predstavljeno branje na splošno, sledijo vrste branja, bralni modeli, bralni razvoj in tipologija bralcev, zaključi se pa z bralno motivacijo. V empiričnem delu smo iskali odgovore na zastavljena vprašanja, povezana z bralnimi navadami in zanimanji učencev. Zanimalo nas je, kako učenci preživljajo svoj prosti čas, priljubljenost in pomen branja, koliko in kaj berejo, kaj je pomembno pri izbiri knjige, ali so v nižjih razredih brali več kot kasneje ipd. Dve vprašanji sta odprtega tipa, kjer so navedli svojega najljubšega junaka in tri najljubše knjige. Nato predstavimo rezultate raziskave, ki kažejo, da zanimanje za branje s starostjo učencev pada. Opazne so tudi razlike v bralnem zanimanju glede na spol in starost. Dekleta in učenci 6. razredov berejo pogosteje kot fantje oz. učenci 8. razredov. Raziskava priča o tem, da so razlogi za branje knjig različni glede na spol in glede na razred obiskovanja (6. in 8. razred). Tako pri fantih kot pri dekletih in tako kot v 6. razredih tudi v 8. učencem branje pomeni širjenje in bogatenje besednega zaklada. Razlike glede na spol in starost so opazne tudi pri izbiri vrste in žanra besedil. Razveseljiv je podatek, da so starši v veliki večini učencem brali knjige, ko so bili majhni. V zadnjem delu diplomskega dela predstavimo seznam najljubših knjig, ki so jih navedli učenci in tri iz vsakega razreda literarno analiziramo.

Sekundarni povzetek: In my diploma work the reading habits and interests of pupils of 6th and 8th classes in primary school Ormož are introduced. The diploma is divided into introductory, theoretical and empirical part, where the research is represented, results and interpretation, and the conclusion. In the theoretical part first the reading in general is represented, which is followed by types of reading, reading models, reading development and typology of readers, it ends with reading motivation. In the empirical part we looked for answers to the questions related to reading habits and interests of pupils. We were interested in how pupils spend their free time, the popularity and importance of reading, how much and what they read, what is important to them in their choice of the book and if they read in earlier classes more than now, etc. Two questions were of open type, where they listed up their favourite hero and three favourite books. Then we present the results of the research, which show, that interest in reading is falling with the age of pupils. Some differences are noticeable in reading interest according by gender and age. Girls and pupils of the 6th classes read more often than boys or 8th class pupils. The research indicates that the reasons for reading books are different according to gender and class of visiting (6th and 8th class). Both among boys and girls, as in the 6th and in the 8th classes, reading for pupils means extending and enrichment of vocabulary. Differences according to gender and age are noticeable also in the choice of text type and genre of texts. Most encouraging is the fact that the vast majority of parents read books when they were little, young. In the last part of the diploma we have represented a list of favourite books that pupils listed. Three of them from each class (6th and 8th class) we also literary analyse.
