Abstract

Diplomsko delo je razdeljeno na teoretični in empirični del. V teoretičnem delu sem predstavila osnovne značilnosti Kurikuluma za vrtce, programa, po katerem delujejo javni vrtci v Slovenji, in značilnosti pedagogike montessori. V obeh programih sem se dotaknila jezikovnega področja in vloge vzgojitelja pri tem. Področje jezika v Kurikulumu za vrtce je zelo jasno opredeljeno, ne najdemo pa zapisov o tem, kako se področje jezika uresničuje v vrtcih montessori. Z intervjuji z vzgojiteljicami v javnem vrtcu in vrtcu montessori sem raziskala jezikovne cilje, dejavnosti in vlogo vzgojitelja na jezikovnem področju v posameznem programu. V empiričnem delu sem želela raziskati, s čim bi lahko svoje delo v vrtcu še obogatili, saj sem pričakovala podobne jezikovne cilje v obeh programih.

Secondary title: The role of the educator in the implementation of the language education in public and montessori kindergarten
Secondary abstract: The thesis is divided into theoretical and empirical part. In the theoretical part I introduced the basic characteristics of the kindergarten curriculum, program under which operate public kindergartens in Slovenia, and the characteristics of the Montessori pedagogy. In both programs, I touched the language area and the role of the teacher in this. Linguistic field in the curriculum for kindergarten is very clearly defined, but we don`t find records of how is implemented in Montessori kindergarten. With interviews from teachers in public and Montessori kindergarten I am looking linguistic objectives, activities and role of the teacher in the linguistic field in each program. In empirical part I wanted to explore with what can we upgrade our work in kindergartens, because I expected similar linguistic goals in both programs.
