magistrsko delo

Abstract

Secondary title: Importance of discipline at teaching Design in elementary schools in Celje
Secondary abstract: The subject of our master thesis is the discipline in the classroom with special reference to the primary school subject of Technology and Design, which definitely does not expect pupils to be seated still and to pay their full attention to listening to the lecturer at first place. However, a certain level of discipline is supposed to be a part of the lessons anyway, since it enables the pupils to follow the teaching studies and to prevent any possible incidents or accidents that might occur during the practical part of these lessons. The figures gained by a questionnaire filled by 133 Technology and Design primary school teachers from the entire region of The Republic of Slovenia are being now issued in our thesis, as well as those gained by running an interview carried out among 7 teachers employed in 6 primary schools in Celje, Slovenia. Furthermore, our suggestions about the proper way to be involved in creating a safe discipline in the teaching environment have also been an integral part of this thesis.
