Abstract

Rabi tiskanih medijev smo predstavili digitalno plast vsebin, ki jo bralec opazuje preko kamere mobilnega telefona, ko ga usmeri v natisnjen vzorec.

Secondary title: Pattern-based augmented reality in print media
Secondary abstract: We introduced a layer of digital content to print media, where the reader views the text through a cell phone camera that is pointed at the printed pattern. In this way- with the help of augmented reality, we would broaden the spectrum of news media and make it more interesting for smartphone users. It turns out that the newspaper editorial boards need to educate their staff on creating and updating augmented content. Likewise, the readers must be notified about the existence and use of markers, which – in the augmented layer- offer for example an extended photo gallery, video clips, animations, hyperlinks and more.
