Abstract

Kot že sam naslov pove, se v diplomskem delu osredotočim na celostno grafično podobo in oblikovanje le-te. Diplomsko delo je razdeljeno na dva dela. V likovno-teoretskem delu raziščem, kaj sploh je grafično oblikovanje in na kratko opišem njegovo zgodovino. Različni strokovnjaki to vrsto oblikovanja enačijo z umetnostjo, spet drugi menijo, da gre za dve različni področji. Predstavim naloge grafičnega oblikovalca in katera področja zavzema grafično oblikovanje. Osredotočim se na celostno grafično podobo in njene dele. V tem delu tudi analiziram in primerjam grafične znake s področja avdio-video produkcije iz Slovenije in tujine. V likovno-praktičnem delu pa na podlagi znanj, pridobljenih skozi prvi del, oblikujem celostno grafično podobo s področja avdio-video produkcije. Predstavim razvoj grafičnega znaka od začetne ideje do končnega izdelka.

Secondary title: Corporate identity design in audio and video production
Secondary abstract: This thesis focuses on the corporate identity design and the process of designing it. The thesis is divided in two sections. In the first part, which discusses the theoretical and artistic background, I examine the definition of graphic design, with its historical development. The discussion reveals the different interpretations of the topic: some experts claim that graphic design is a form of art, while others believe that art and graphic design are two separate fields of study. I also present the tasks of a graphic designer and which fields graphic design includes. I focus on the corporate identity design and its parts and also analyse and compare graphic signs in the audio and video production in Slovenia and abroad. In the second part of the thesis, I model a corporate identity design in audio and video production, based on the theory presented in the first part of the thesis, presenting the development of the graphic sign from the initial idea to the final product.
