magistrsko delo
Abstract
V teoretičnem delu sem predstavila različne definicije nadarjenosti, kakšne so značilnosti učno uspešnih nadarjenih učencev in kakšne učno manj uspešnih nadarjenih učencev ter kako jih odkrivamo.

Working with successful and less successful gifted learners |
Secondary abstract: |
Early detection of gifted students in primary school is very important for their cognitive and personal development. We also should not forget about the students whose potentials and talents do not show at school performance, the gifted learning-disabled students. Due to the different kinds of talent, the differentiation of the learning process is necessary. In practice, teachers often face the difficulty of differentiating the learning process. Thus, I have decided that my dissertation is going to be based on an in-depth research of extra activities that teachers prepare for the gifted students. In the theoretical part, I have presented different definitions of talent and characteristics of gifted achievers and gifted underachievers. I have also introduced how we can recognize the gifted students. Next, I have presented the roles that the teacher and parents have with discovering of the gifted students and summed up some of the ways we can encourage the development of the gifted students. In the empirical part, I was interested in how many extra activities teachers prepare for the gifted students, which are these activities and how motivated the gifted students are for the extra work. I have conducted a research with the students of the third and fourth grades. I have discovered that, in general, they are quite motivated for extra work. |
