Povzetek
V magistrskem delu smo se odločili raziskati, kako se je delo z nadarjenimi učenci spremenilo iz preteklosti do danes ter kako se bo delo z njimi razvijalo v prihodnje. V teoretičnem delu so predstavljene glavne razlike med nadarjenostjo, inteligentnostjo in ustvarjalnostjo. Predstavljen je zakonski okvir za izobraževanje nadarjenih učencev v preteklosti vse do današnjega časa, proces evidentiranja in odkrivanja nadarjenih ter delo z nadarjenimi učenci in vloga učiteljev pri delu z njimi. V teoretični del smo vključili tudi sodobne didaktične pristope za delo z nadarjenimi učenci ter pomen in vpliv družine na razvoj otrokove nadarjenosti. V empiričnem delu smo anketirali učitelje različnih šol po Sloveniji z namenom, da bi raziskali ustreznost učiteljeve izobrazbe za delo z nadarjenimi učenci v preteklosti in danes, vlogo učiteljev, razrednih učiteljev, svetovalnih delavcev in ravnateljev pri poučevanju nadarjenih učencev v preteklosti, sedanjosti in prihodnosti, prilagajanje pouka za nadarjene učence v preteklosti in danes, sodelovanje učiteljev s starši nadarjenih otrok ter zasnovanost slovenskega šolskega sistema pri delu z nadarjenimi učenci. Na podlagi dobljenih rezultatov lahko sklenemo, da se skrb za nadarjene učence iz preteklosti do danes ni bistveno spremenila. Vendar sodelujoči učitelji za prihodnje menijo, da se bo njihova vloga pri skrbi za nadarjene učence spremenila.

Care for the gifted in the past, present and future |

This master's thesis explores how working with gifted students has changed from the past until today and how it will continue to change and develop in the future. The theoretical part presents the main differences between talent, intelligence and creativity. We also presented the legislative framework for educating gifted students from the past until modern times as well as the process of recording information about gifted students, recognising them, working with them and the role of teachers in working with the gifted. The theoretical part includes modern didactic approaches for working with gifted students and the impact of the family on the development of the student's talent. In the empirical part we surveyed teachers from different schools in Slovenia. Our purpose was to explore the adequacy of teachers' education in connection to their work with gifted students in the past and in the present. Furthermore, we explored the roles of teachers, class teachers, school counsellors and principals in teaching gifted students in the past, present and future. We considered the cooperation between teachers and students' parents and the way Slovenian school system is designed in connection to working with gifted students. Based on the survey results, we can conclude that caring for gifted students has not significantly changed from the past to the present. However, the participating teachers believe their role in caring for gifted students will change in the future. |
