Abstract

Podjetja, ki se vključujejo v mednarodno poslovanje, se soočajo z medkulturnim tveganjem. V komunikaciji poslovnih partnerjev iz različnih kultur lahko zelo hitro nastanejo nesporazumi. Dobro poznavanje kultur tujih poslovnih partnerjev je ključno za primerno mednarodno komunikacijo in uspešno mednarodno poslovanje. V teoretičnem delu diplomskega projekta smo opredelili pojem »kultura« in predstavili elemente kulture ter izbrane konceptualne modele medkulturnih razlik. Opredelili smo tudi pojem in vrste poslovnega komuniciranja ter pojem in posebnosti medkulturne poslovne komunikacije. V prvem delu empirične raziskave smo analizirali grško kulturo glede na izbrane konceptualne modele medkulturnih razlik in opredelili posebnosti komuniciranja v grškem poslovnem okolju. Na osnovi ugotovitev iz intervjuja z zaposlenimi tujci v mednarodnem podjetju v Grčiji smo v drugem delu empirične raziskave ugotavljali vpliv grške kulture na mednarodno poslovno komuniciranje.

Secondary abstract: Companies that are engaged in international business are faced with cross-cultural risks. In the communication of business partners from different cultures misunderstandings can arise very quickly. Proficiency in cultures of foreign business partners is crucial for appropriate international communication and successful international business. In the theoretical part of the diploma project we defined the term »culture« and introduced the elements of culture and selected conceptual models of intercultural differences. We also defined the term and types of »business communication« and the term and features of intercultural business communication. In the first part of empirical research we analysed Greek culture with respect to selected conceptual models of intercultural differences and introduced the features of communication in Greek business environment. Based on the findings of the interview with the employed foreigners in the international company in Greece we analysed the impact of Greek culture on international business communication.
