Abstract

Diplomsko delo zajema načrtovanje in izdelavo robotskega mehanizma namenjenega uporabi v eksperimentalne namene. V sklopu dela so predstavljene inženirske metode, kot so: analiza mehanizma s klasično mehaniko, simulacija dinamičnega modela, 3D modeliranje ter izdelava na obdelovalnem stroju. Utemeljena je zgradba sestavnih sklopov in izbira standardnih ter pogonskih elementov. Na koncu pa so predstavljeni rezultati, ki obsegajo opis lastnosti mehanizma, ter natančnosti izdelave. Končni izdelek je pokazal, da je dobro zasnovan, vendar je še prostor za izboljšave predvsem pri metodi izdelave.

Secondary title: Design and manufacturing of educational laboratory planar two-axis robotic mechanism
Secondary abstract: This diploma thesis covers the planning and production of the robotic mechanism, intended for use in education for experimental purposes. The thesis presents engineering methods utilized in the design process of robotic mechanism like analysis of mechanism with classical mechanics, simulation of dynamic models, 3D modelling in CAD and manufacturing on a 3 axis CNC machine. Individual mechanical machined parts that build up mechanism components (e.g. rotational axis), selection of standard machine elements and selection of electrical drive motors are all described. The concluding chapter presents results, which encompass description of mechanical properties and accuracy of machined parts. Final product has a good design but there are still thing to improve, especially in machining methods.
